Good morning (at least it is right now).

I traded in my Tacoma X-Runner about 2 weeks ago for a 2009 Nissan 370z 6spd Touring.

Interestingly enough, When I googled the vin this thread pops up

[CA] Trying to buy a 370z : Bad experience with VIN JN1AZ44E59M402001

But 15K miles and about 6 years later, I figured all the kinks have been figured out. the transmission/clutch all shift smoothly, The exhaust is stock for now (i kept looking for any "fast intentions" lettering) and the brakes are fine.

I live out towards Tracy (Mountain House) and work for Tesla in Fremont so it will not be my daily driver, I use the household E90 when I can to keep the miles down...

So far I've only changed the reverse lights, overhead interior lights, trunk lights and vanity mirror lights to LED (came with LED license plate lights already ) and swapped out a crappy universal shift knob with an Abrams M1 satin knob.

The plans are light, I get a discount on tirerack through work so coilovers will be in the near future, 15mm wheel spacers will be ordered by the end of the day or early tomorrow, the navigation map will be updated eventually, i want to have the windows re tinted 15% all around then the basic bolt ons (intake, headers, exhaust, tune, short shifter).

Currently...

I've had several cars in the past but this one is clearly my fastest... The X-Runner was a great truck but overall, i'm not a truck person. It looked pretty and was decent on power and I always thought it handled well, But in comparison to the Z34, It's a pig... In the Z34 when I press the brakes hard it stops with enough force to put a face imprint on the windshield, in the X-Runner if you brake hard, it'll stop eventually... I'll miss having ample cup holders and storage compartments until I press the gas or turn on the heated seats on a cold morning.

The X-Runner that is replaced by the Z34
