DLSTR 04-26-2015 11:17 AM

Hallo from Germany. I had a very nice 370Z and it was great fun on the Autobahn. Time for you to journey East from Paris and visit my area around Stuttgart for good driving and great automobile culture via the Mercedes and Porsche Museums!!

Voiture Magnifique! Profitez en bonne santé toujours!!!

For sure I will go there. When I was close to Germany few years ago I ride on some nice roads in moutains and I know in Germany there are some "autobahn" without speed limit :happydance:

What is your favourite car now ?

Yess not easy to find the best exhaust product but for the price it seems it's a very good choice and I'm happy now with it. Before I had a car now it's real sport car :D

Pb with HF Cats

Hi

There is some news from France.

Just intalled my HF Cats (INVIDIA) see photo

http://aws-cf.caradisiac.com/prod/ph...454f3e.jpg?v=1

After few kilometers I have these codes
P0139 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0159 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response Bank 2 Sensor 2
P0137 - O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0157 - O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2

Can someone give me a good advice and what to do ?

Thanks
Phil

BboyZ 12-31-2015 01:10 AM

For P0137 & P0139 possible causes

- Faulty Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 harness is open or shorted
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Inappropriate fuel pressure
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks

Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 replacement normally solve this issue.

For P0157 & P0159 Possible causes

- Faulty Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 harness is open or shorted
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 circuit poor electrical connection
- Inappropriate fuel pressure
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks

Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 replacement normally solve this issue.

I was told that it is. I have (French) family, one of which moved to the states years ago. He bought a new 350z when the HR was released. He said he had wanted the car for quite awhile, but the cost much more over there.

zaimer 12-31-2015 08:49 AM

Bienvenue!! Congrats on your awesome new purchase. You will enjoy it, as well as this community. What is the "GT Edition"? I don't believe that I have heard of that before. I do love seeing how the same model of car is made differently based on the country (i.e. headlight washers).

Just out of curiosity...which part of France are you in? I have family a few hours south of Paris.

Phil,

Yes those sensor are the sensors connected to HFC. About the price, not sure it varies.

Check that there is no Exhaust leak, since the HFC was replaced.
To test if the sensors are faulty, put back the old Cat, reset the code and test drive for kilometer. This will tell you if the issue is the sensor.

axmea? 12-31-2015 02:10 PM

Sometimes faulty installation cause the problem.

If everything was good prior to the HFC install, you may just need some Oxygen Sensor Spacers.

Ok Good idea but a lot of work ... The guy who installed it didn't put any Exhaust Gasket between exhaust manifold and the HF Cats... may be this is the pb ?

I hope not but see above ...

I'st strange because before programming ECU I had no pb with the HFC ...

All the best
