Yes, it illuminates pertty good. Having made the landing strips turn on all the time it works just fine during parking lights only mode. Also, if I turn on the Angel Eyes I can tell the difference.....it adds just a little bit more light on the road during driving, too. So, landing strips & Angel Eyes are good for daytime driving and for driving up until dusk I would say. Then the headlights would need to be turned on.....but you can still keep the Angel Eyes on, too.
