We're they done filming FF7? That could throw a wrench into the film if they were only half way done.

Not done yet. Apparently they were going to film most of his parts this week too:

Pretty sad to see this news yesterday, I was really hoping it would be a hoax but now we know that's not the case.

I never met Paul but he always seemed like a who would be cool in person and was a true car guy.

This is yet another instance that we all need to take it easy on the streets, so many different variables that sometimes you can't anticipate everything

My condolensces go out to his family, he was way too young to pass away

I still can't believe he's gone. After watching all of the F&F movies, it felt like losing a friend. RIP Paul Walker.

Damn beautiful z and wheel color. Does anyone know where to get that cover for where the license plate would usually screw in on the front bumper ???

If you want to donate without wondering about the legitimacy of some random website selling stickers, his charity was www.roww.org.

Reading this whole thread and all the posts from family it's hard to fight the sadness it really is like losing somewhat of a role model as an enthusiast

RIP, he also got me into the car world. actually made me favor Nissan too.

We have all gone over the speed limit, so leave that **** alone. No one else was hurt. Considering the skill of the driver, Paul, and obviously the capabilities of the car, I would go ahead and favor a failure with a tire.

Just think, for anyone who really knew or followed Paul, he always advocated for safe driving/track only regardless of his movies and he used his fame and fortune to continue to help others. He saved far more people than he hurt in this case.

RIP Paul. I did not know him personally, but many of us feel like we lost a friend. I think we can agree that his F&F movies created a persona that was likable and one we as a car culture appreciated. He will be greatly missed.

My friends and I had barely a few years in the USAF when The Fast and the Furious came out. I remember driving my Integra to the theater along with a few Eclipses, Civics, and a 240SX. Almost 13 years later, most of us are nearing retirement. It's bittersweet seeing someone we looked up to pass away doing what he truly loved. I never met Paul Walker, but he'll surely be missed. RIP Brian O'Connor. We know you can box.
