What was the last movie you saw?

This is always a pretty popular thread and this forum is missing it!

State movie, then rating if youd like and your personal opinion.

So I'll start us off...

Boiler Room - 8/10 - Awesome movie, could've been a little better though. Definitely if you have any interest in the stock market check it out.

Troy - 10/10 - I love epic war movies like this and 300.

Tropic Thunder 7.5/10 - Funny parts, but then it gets a little dry for long bits.

Slidefox 12-08-2008 08:58 PM

I saw Transporter 3 the other day, and Four Christmas just before that

RCZ 12-09-2008 07:48 AM

TacoZ 12-12-2008 04:09 PM

I go every week with my GF as long as there's something that I want to see. It's mostly action or comedy only.

Four Christmases:
Very good and funny movie. We laughed our asses off. Definitely another chick flick but it's not bad. Actually this movie was funnier than Tropic Thunder in my opinion.

Transporter 3:
Good Action, Not as good as the 1st or 2nd movie. The Romance part of the movie just blew it for me. That was the only downside. Good for one time viewing.

Twilight:
Snucked into this because my GF wanted to see a romantic movie. It's a chick flick. Actually it wasn't bad at all. It was ok. Vampire falls in love with a human girl. Vampire belongs to a family of vampires that choose to eat animals instead of humans. They run into a vampire who likes to "hunt" and finds it a challenge to hunt this human girl because she is protected by this other vampire. You should only watch this movie if you have a GF. Don't watch it with a bunch of guys...

The Dark Knight:
Dude it's Batman...enough said. Buy on Blu Ray!

Jasonle 02-19-2012 08:21 PM

Saw Chronicles last night at the show.. it was good.. I liked it.

Last movie I watched was into the grey, and man was it a good movie

StLRedrider 02-19-2012 10:02 PM

The Grey...........it was ok!

HKYStormFront 02-19-2012 10:13 PM

last movie i saw in a theater was The Grey. i liked it a lot, though it was not the action packed movie the trailer sold it to be.

the last movie i saw anywhere was Horrible Bosses. hilarious movie, highly recommend to anyone who likes adult comedies.

tr0n 02-20-2012 12:39 AM

BlackZeda 02-27-2012 08:02 PM

bigsix 02-27-2012 09:56 PM

My last 3 movies were... 50/50, Drive, Hangover II.

If you haven't seen Drive make it a point to check it out

nicky13 03-06-2012 02:18 AM

Just saw "Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol" a few days ago.

I viewed Surviving the Game in glorious HD this past weekend. Also Office Space. Classics.

HKYStormFront 03-06-2012 01:42 PM

watched Heat today on blu ray... good LORD what an amazing movie. there are a few parts that get a bit drawn out but the tension runs high from beginning to end and the music building to the violence is nothing short of visceral. if you are into heist films, definitely check it out if you haven't. it's al pacino and robert de niro in career defining roles. do not miss this one. this has one of the most on-the-edge-of-your-seat shootouts that has ever been filmed.

eddieconfetti 03-06-2012 02:11 PM

loved puss in boots. has to be one of the greatest animations.that was also that last movie i have seen.

not sure if serious... :ugh:

speedfreek 03-06-2012 02:28 PM

Safe House. Awesome movie! Still need to see Act of Valor.

theDreamer 03-06-2012 02:34 PM

Saw Act of Valor and This Means War.
Valor was very good, the slow scenes were so-so but using non-actors is tough, plus side is it made the action scenes amazing.

HKYStormFront 03-06-2012 02:37 PM

yea i've heard act of valor is pretty good for what it is. i'll probably put it high on my "rental" list. it takes a lot for me to want to go see a movie in the theater these days.

dAvenue 03-06-2012 11:22 PM

Watched Senna yesterday on iTunes. Great film.

HKYStormFront 03-06-2012 11:26 PM

I saw it in the theater. I liked it. Very realistic war flick, compared to most of hollywood.
