Car Warriors 240Z build
Ugh. Just watched this on Speed (a rerun from March). Each team had a early 70s 240z. The "All-Stars" created this hideous "Speed Racer" build where they cut the top off and molded the Speed Racer body style from foam and fiberglass applied to the 240's sheet metal. It looked like an amateur kit car. The other team's build was OK ... not to my taste, but at least it still looked like a Z.
As you can guess, the judges choose the Speed Racer build. It didn't help matters that the judges were known for extreme builds -- e.g. George Barris. Any of you guys see this episode? Opinions?
