I miss Dany :( They haven't been giving her enough attention.

She isnt as big of a character in book 2 if I remember right...there are some interesting scenes with her later on in the book.

Nothing big really happens with character until the later books. They go through each chapter a lot quicker on the show though for production reasons.

No each episode is multiple chapters. And from several point of views.

Basically, each time they switch location, it's roughly a new chapter. Each POV character is a chapter, but obviously other characters are involved. You could technically read just Daenerys' character as it's own story. Everything is usually happening at the same time, so the story has to jump around a bit.

They also added more screentime of Rob Stark's character for the show. In the book, he's no longer a POV character.
