Negan was good, Ezekiel is fine; I think they are sort of setting him up to have a romance with Carol that happened with Michonne in the comic.
I'm just wondering if Daryl is going to be returned with a bag over his head later... comic readers will recall this whole exchange (and how it played out), though with a different character involved -- and one who I think was mentioned once or twice in passing, but otherwise has not been focused on in the show. All in all, I'm pretty happy so far. JD Morgan is a great Negan! I was kind of hoping he was going to chop Rick's hand off, but clearly AMC was just toying with those of us who know whether comic Rick is a lefty or rightie
