Well, I can't really spoil anything, because they are well off of the comic storyline now, but next should come another town that also eventually gets walloped by a herd... and then there's the Saviors to contend with (maybe).

They skipped the cannibals story and who knows if they'll bother with the Goose-chase-for-a-Cure story (which introduces a few new characters) since they already blew up the CDC, Resident Evil style

Hopefully he'll just murder the lot of them and then hurry up and get murdered himself so we can move along... the Gov is ultimately a grade B villain.
