I'm betting one of those kids of the guy that died is feeding the zombies. Afte all she named on Pete like it was a pet. I would think by now the zombies would be dying off again since it seems that they don't get to eat much. I read the cast can't eat BBQ ribs anymore since that's what they use on the show as a prop when the zombies munch down. Ugh....think I'll pass on ribs too.

I wonder for the next couple of episodes: does Daryl keep his leadership role, or does he cede back authority to Rick again? Looks like Rick is finally shaking off the anguish he's been through.

I don't think Daryl will die maybe just get sick. He was eating and licked his fingers shook that kid's hand and went right back to eating.

I remember Milton saying they do require nourishment or they'll die, it just takes a long time.

Thats what I was referring to. Zombies or not, muscles must have an energy source to move. So it must be a virus or bacteria that causes one to turn into a zombie. Now if you want to go all supernatural and say it s demon or something, sure. But the show seems to indicate its all biological. They need to do a movie that shows how the whole thing started. Not just right after, when Rick leaves the hospital. Too bad the killed off the CDC scientist.

I think it may be something to do with the worms, note that Rick pulled up a bunch of worms from the ground and fed them to the pig...saying it gave them protein. Well they also bury the walkers out in the yard...not right near the garden and the pigs...but close enough. Worms travel through the underground...perhaps eating the buried walkers...feed the worms to the pigs...you eat the pigs....or any food grown where the worms are in the soil.....I'm jsu saying.

Did they eat any pig? I thought they were still maturing them to get them ready to eat? And that doesn't explain the bore in the woods.

Well what else do you do with a pig but eat it? I assume they have been eating the pigs. Pigs go rooting around and they will eat almost anything....so maybe the boar in the woods ate a bit of a zombie. Then it got sick.

Or it seriously is just a bad flu strain. I think the symbolism of the pigs is overrated.

I almost posted the same thing this morning. I stated to think that I was over thinking the whole thing and maybe the writers are just spoon feeding us the plot, but I like to think they'd be more creative.

I joked about it being Carol to my roommate at the beginning of the episode and it ended up being true, and she admitted it so nonchalantly.

Did she do it before or after they turned? Will Rick take her side and try to keep it a secret? What will Tyreese do when he finds out? Gonna be some drama coming.

And what about that gigantic heard? I loved the nod to the comics with Tyreese's hammer spree.

Rick will not tell him, they will pin the murders on a person who also got sick and died. But Carol to be a killer.....did not see that coming. That herd was huge, I was wondering if they made it to the Vet school to get the drugs....the preview for next week seems to show that Rick left to get drugs when the other group did not return. So if they all leave...who is left to protect them from the Governor? Nobody.....so it was a slow episode, but sets up for next week really nicely.
