You guys might be right, it has been said that all are infected, although i dont remember anyone turning without being bitten yet. But then why is it that one of the guys from the kingdom mentions he wants the pigs with their stomachs as full as possible and then give the saviors the pigs if not as a way of making them sick? I think its definitely going to work to their advantage. And considering the badass army the saviors seem to have, this might be an effective way of beating them, not neccesarily by killing them, but making them sick and weak for battle

I guess only time will tell

IDK if its to make them sick. I think it's just a f*ck you. They're not using their own food to fatten the pigs and getting an up yours in at the same time. I remember an old episode where they were cooking and eating one of the characters that was bitten. So I'm 90% sure its just a f*ck you and to not use their provisions.

Carol either needs to die or get her **** together. Tired of her being a self loathing burden. I was hyped as f*ck for this episode, went out and got my wife and I nice food, drinks, dessert. All ready for some walking dead! Then we watched some homie with a tiger putting on a show, carol being carol & a little bit of plot for the main characters.

come on. You can give us an episode like the 1st then throw us into this carol bullsh*t. Carol is like the emo kids when I was growing up. Weird, sneaky, anti-social, always looking for a reason to cry and draw attention to themselves.

She use to be my favorite character too

I couldn't agree more. I'm tired of people telling me the show can't been constant action and I have to have episodes like this for character development, or that this was such a nice pallet cleanser after since an intense premier.

They don't all have to be as violent as the premier, but to have something like that happen and then completely abandon it and make us wait for the aftermath was a mistake in my opinion.

Getting introduced to Ezekiel was nice, however I feel like they may have revealed too much too soon. I think having the characters discover his secrets over time would have been more effective than laying it all out right away.

It's nice to see Morgan starting to move away from his complete pacifism, but there was no character development for Carol this episode. It's just more of her wanting to run away from any sense of community and at this point I say let her.

Going back to my point about the complete change in tone between the premier and this episode, I wish they structured this show more like Game of Thrones where they cover multiple stories per episode. I hate that they feel the need to completely abandon story lines for episodes at a time. Episode 1 is Rick and the majority of the group, episode 2 is Morgan and Carol, episode 3 looks like it'll be completely Daryl, and then by episode 4 we may finally get back to Rick.

Negan was good, Ezekiel is fine; I think they are sort of setting him up to have a romance with Carol that happened with Michonne in the comic.

I'm just wondering if Daryl is going to be returned with a bag over his head later... comic readers will recall this whole exchange (and how it played out), though with a different character involved -- and one who I think was mentioned once or twice in passing, but otherwise has not been focused on in the show.

All in all, I'm pretty happy so far. JD Morgan is a great Negan!

I was kind of hoping he was going to chop Rick's hand off, but clearly AMC was just toying with those of us who know whether comic Rick is a lefty or rightie

That one episode where she essentially cosplayed Assassin's Creed last season was the end of my tolerance for her.

I actually liked this week's episode a lot more than I thought I would. We got to see what they're doing with Daryl's and a good look into how the Saviors operate. Daryl is still unwavering in this loyalty to Rick and the group to the point where it may come back to bight him in the ***.

The exploration of Dwight as an individual and his relationship with Negan did a lot to show what life is like as a Savior. If your basically a dog that follows commands without question life is OK, but dare to have individual thoughts and life can quickly become a nightmare.

Meh... maybe the first episode jaded the f*ck outta me. I'm kinda bored. It was just Darryl eating dog food and listening to bombass music. I think blonde burn face boy is gonna help get Darryl and his girl outta there. Homeboy looked slightly uncomfortable when Neigan was talking about how he slams his "hot" wife on the daily.

Got to see Daryl scowl for an hour.....lots of women like that I suppose...but overall a boring episode. Dwight is just some stoner millennial that used to work at a start-up before the outbreak and hang out in over priced coffee shops. His wife did yoga down the street and probably is bi-sexual. Maybe he programmed in Python too. boring.

Well I don't think that episode needed to be an hour and a half for anyone other than the advertisement agency. They're really banking on trying to build up tension, making the audience question what Negan is going to do next. The problem, is that every time it looks like something might happen they cut to another commercial break. At first I was anxious to know what was going to happen, but after a while I just started to get annoyed.

In regards to the story, I thought it was interesting that Rick and the rest of the group apparently didn't deem it important to tell the rest of the Alexandrians who Negan was, what he did, and what the repercussions for their town was going to be. If someone kills two of your people and tell you they're going to come take half your stuff later in the week, you should probably make sure that your people know what's going on when they come knocking.

Carl also really dropped the ball this episode. If it was one of the other townspeople I could understand, but Carl was there. He saw Abraham and Glenn get their heads bashed in. He knew this guy was serious and then thinks it's a good idea to pull a gun on them?

Michonne going out to practice her ranged shooting, it does look like they're going all in with giving her the Andrea story arc from the comics.
