Good point on Sasha or Carol (although that does influence some other things for Rick... ;) ), although we never did actually see Andrea die... it's not impossible, but I have a feeling you are right and somebody else will fill her void. |

We didn't see her die, but it was heavily implied, especially with the nice chunk Milton appeared to have taken out of her when they finally got to her. |
Thoughts on last night's episode? I liked it but thought Rick's Debbie Downer attitude got a little repetitive. I completely understand where he's coming from and why he is that way, especially after Terminus but at least do something more with it. That's just me though...

Rick is to the point he trusts no one. From the previous episode. He is dead until the end of the "war". They are "The Walking Dead." It may of been a little reptitive but I guess they were showing he wouldn't budge and is ready to kill anyone that tries to bring harm to the group/family.
I thought the ending to the episode was the best part. From the scene where Rick told Michionne he doesn't think anything can make him go in the compound. But is at least willing to go check it out. Then the only thing that would make him enter was the sound of children playing. Although I found it strange that once they were inside there were no kids and it sounded like they were just on the other side of the gate. |
Was anyone else confused as to why the RV disappeared out of nowhere? Or did I miss something?
I'm excited to see what the conflict is going to be inside Alexandria, these guys seem pretty trustworthy but there must be a reason they've been stalking Rick |
This episode was actually pretty close to the events in comics, which was refreshing. The biggest surprise for me was that they got the group to Alexandria so soon. I was sure that they were going to waste most of this season on the journey there.
I also kind of like that they came right out with Aaron and Eric's relationship (even faster than the comics if I recall correctly). I was wondering if AMC would make it apparent, subtle, or leave it out completely. Wouldn't really have mattered one way or the other, mostly just happy they stayed true to the comics. |
Finished reading Vol. 22 a couple nights ago.. it was certainly

I think they've (hopefully) learned their lesson about not wandering too far off the storyline. Let them do that on the spin off  Quote:

What's up with the :superghey: scene?? If I want to watch that crap I will watch Glee.

There's a couple of major characters in the Walking Dead who are gay (and there was briefly at least one bi- chick...).
Have you played the Last of Us? Bill's gay and Ellie is (possibly) bi-curious... There's another gay character for which I expect AMC to deliberately avoid the issue entirely...

Well last night's episode was a little slow/calm, but it was interesting. I haven't read the comics associated with early Alexandria in a while so I can't remember how many of these characters are brand new and how many cross over. The group is clearly on edge and still very weary of the promise of a safe haven. Even as they start to settle in believe that Alexandria may be everything it's people are claiming it to be they fear that staying will make them weak.
There a few questionable characters that I'm interested to see play out. Jessie's husband could definitely be end up with a conflict for Rick, especially after that strange late night porch sitting conversation during his walk. Glenn and Aiden will probably continue to be at odds with one another as experience and seniority fight to determine how things should be done. I'm also intrigued by Enid. She's lived outside the wall as well and seems to be having just as hard a time adjusting as Rick's group. Maybe I missed it last night, but why is she jumping the wall? The final line from the now smooth shaven Rick was a good way to wrap up the feelings of the group. They are ready to give peace a chance, but will not let themselves get soft or be taken advantage of. |

So Alexandria has a female governor. Can't wait for Meschon to take her eye out. :p
