Chem was easy, that's nursing. To kill him correctly he should have actually said clonazepam at 75mg. Both were wrong route but what she gave was actually fine and wouldn't have hurt him!

I may be alone in this... but I hate the group jumping. It get sooo annoying. They should just Game of Thrones it and give a little bit about each group for the full length of the episode. Or extend episodes to two hours that way they'll have enough time for everyone

Lol unless you become psychotic, suicidal, suicide attempt, detoxing off alcohol, opiates, benzos, ect, you won't be in my hospital! And don't worry, giving 75mg klonopin is impossible when the dosage is 0.25-1mg. A red flag should pop up in your head when you try to pull 75-300 pills out of the Pyxis machine.

I'd put money Eugene's a fake. He's not unintelligent, in fact he's smart enough to keep people around him who will keep him safe. Perfect for a coward/weakling unable to adapt to the new world. |

Overlooking the silliness factor of anyone thinking even a small group would only need one physician following a zombie apocalypse, the writing was better on this one.
On a related note, their socialization process made little to no sense... you don't have to guilt or coerce people into doing chores or giving "favors" in return for food when resources are scarce and its basically martial law (who are they "keeping up appearances" of civility for?)... accordingly, why not just let people leave if they won't play ball? That whole set-up was a little goofy... Anyway, I suspect they are splitting up the groups to see if they can successfully develop that spin off show with totally original characters they've been threatening to make. I mean, not that they kind of already haven't, but, you know, without having to even feign more than a marginal connection to the source material.

No activity?
Well, FWIW, I thought they did a really good job with a really awkward plot -- the Eugene is a fraud thing is from the comic, and kind of a lame plot development (although Eugene is a pretty good character overall, and he gets more interesting and useful later on), but it is what it is. The show did a really good job fleshing him out -- but enough with the commentary on his mullet. Once would have been plenty. It's the zombie apocalypse. Who cares if he's business in the front and party in the back? Although I still think Abraham should have been cast as someone a bit more physically imposing, they did a good job justifying why he only busted Eugene in the face rather than put a bullet in his head. Should be an interesting trip back to Rick and company... I was surprised they dropped the bomb about Eugene immediately -- a good decision, I think. Dragging it out for a whole season (AMC's previous strategy) would have been terrible. After a whole season on "killer flu" and another on "lost in the woods", I really hope they just stick closer to the comic. I like that they are fleshing out the comic storyline without tons of deviation, fixing weaknesses in the original story rather than creating new ones with random plot tangents. In general, much better, AMC!

I dont really think much of the guy that plays abraham, he looks like he was a country music star that nobody ever heard of.
After shane I dont think they wanted any other badasses, I havent read the comics though so I don't know whats to come. Last edited by Austonian; 11-10-2014 at 06:51 PM. |

Overall, I liked the pacing and their recent use of very, very dimly lit, cramped scenery to ramp up the creepiness factor.
Carol's character continues to be inconsistent, but they can't change what they've already had happen, so all they can do is try to keep buffing the dookie... On another note: The latest trade paperback of the comic series just came out and the story is getting very, very good again. Looking forward to AMC getting around to dealing with
