Hmm.

I'm going to take a "wait and see" attitude on this one.

AMC hasn't done well when they've developed original scripts for the Walking Dead... this would be (pilot notwithstanding, allegedly) 100% Kirkman free.

Kirkman ain't Shakespeare, but so far, the AMC staff have proven themselves to follow the "give 1000 monkeys 1000 typewriters" model of writing.

Well they ordered two seasons, so they must trust them. I would like to see a prequel of what the existing Group was doing right before the outbreak, and what exactly caused it. Rick was in the hospital after being shot, but what about the others? It could be a 1 shot two hour episode.
