It's in good condition. The smart-cord cable has been stretched, as it was run through the head-liner and A-pillar in my old car to hide the cord.

I took these pic's last week and am only getting to putting them up now.

What's the difference between this and the X50 model?

The X50 is a bit newer model than this one. I looked up some of the differences:

-50% more range than the original Passport 8500.

-The Passport 8500 X50 includes our proprietary Traffic Sensor Rejection (TSR) software to eliminate false alerts.

-Auto-mute.

-Some audio tone features, etc.

-Blue display.

Thanks for adding that, I think it adds POP as well. Still debating, big difference between buying this or a 500 dollar new one.
