*GENERATION 3. NOT "RETINA" VERSION.
But DOES have a retina display.

I have too many toys and this one just doesn't get used enough. Asking $400 shipped.

Nothing wrong with it. Works perfect. Comes in original box and with a case.

I don't think the iPad 3 has the retina display. They released a newer version just 6 months after the gen 3.

Good lord, and i though I had retina this whole time. Your right though, mine is just the Generation 3. I never knew they made another release,

Gen 3's actually do have retna display... the main difference between the gen 3 and the retna ipad is the connector. Gen 3 uses the older connector, renta ipad or "new ipad" use the same as the iphone 5.

Yeah thats what I just looked up, mine has the larger connector so I now know its not the "retina" version. But I did research as well and Dimon is right, Gen 3 does have Retina Display.

From what I understand, the Ipad 4 just has upgraded processors and is faster as well as the new charging port and they stopped producing Ipad 3's to try to only sell Ipad 4's.

I have the Ipad mini deployed overseas. There is not a new connector charging cable in this country, let alone this base lol. Probably better off buying this with the original charging port as there are 1,000,000 aftermarket original ipod/ipod connector port accessories/chargers. Just my :twocents: GLWS!

I bought my 3 about 42 days before they released the 4... they wouldn't let me trade it in for an upgrade because it was more than 30 days on the purchase! DOH!

4 has:
Upgraded processor
A little better wifi chip
lightning connector
a greddy sticker on the back to give it that extra 10HP ;-)

@michael - go on onesaleaday or one of those sites to get some adapters. They usually work pretty good. If you need one really bad let me know and I will try to get you a care package together. Take care brother!
