• Rooted with ClockWorkMod Recovery
• Current ROM is CM7 (very fast!), but is easily updated using CWM Recovery. Simply download the ROM zip file, copy to microSD card, and use CWM recovery (hold vol up/down when pressing power), and select update from the ZIP file.
• Has minor scuffs on the sides from the Body Glove case.
• Screen is perfect with no surface scratches. Everything works great.

FYI:
Look for Cyanogen Mod 9 to be released in about 1-2 months. It's based on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and it should be fast and with a slick interface.

i looked it up though i guess its not THAT bad...i even made a mockup of it its not that much bigger than my S2

Is wifi hotspot still an issue after rooting? I know in stock form its locked down by tmobile.

im on att. I havent been on the CM7 rom for a month but i think i remember wifi tethering to be working. if not you can just install a tethering app since its rooted.

I've not tried hotspot, but tethering is available with the CM7 ROM. Only annoying minor bug is to enable GPS to hear voice calls. CM9 should be out in a month or two. I'd like to put that on the Note as well. The CM7 builds are really fast!

Anyhow, with the larger screen on the Note I'd like to mess around more like load Ubuntu and whatnot. So far Win95 runs nicely on the GSII haha. Good times...

and thats kind of odd that TMO CM7 needs GPS enabled for voice calls, the ATT one doesnt.

It's over a month old, and he stopped working on it. Another cook made a brief update which is similar. I downloaded it, but haven't tried it yet. A couple of guys want me to root and change the firmware as well which is what the download was for. I'll probably restore to a Samsung-based ROM before shipping the phone out.

Going to put the phone on Ebay soon after getting shipping notification for the Note.
