Default Valentine One Radar Detector For Sale!

After I traded in my Z a while back, I decided to keep my V1 Radar Detector, but in the last year I haven't used it a single time. I figured it's time to sell it to someone that would use it.

Since my premium membership is up, I might not be able to link the pictures. Here are the URL's you can copy / paste:

V1 Original Box
V1 Contents Laid Out
V1 Up Close

This is a fantastic radar detector, and routinely picks up radar from 1-2 miles in advance. The arrows on the display are invaluable, and IMO, put it ahead of other radars out there. Knowing a cop is coming up behind you, or parked to the side is extremely beneficial.

On the website, they make the V1 look huge. It's honestly pretty small. You can see from one of my pictures it's nowhere near as large as you'd think from the website (my only fear when buying it originally).

This radar detector is $400 new.

I'm selling my used (bought in early 2010) Valentine One Radar Detector for $300, and that includes shipping anywhere in the US. It'll come with all original accessories.

I have the original packaging, which comes with everything a new one comes with.

First PM/Reply gets it, and I can have it mailed out in 24-48 hours. Paypal only. Please respond in this thread if you have any questions, or shoot me a PM.

Thanks!

$400 new? I thought that thing started at like $450-$500.

Regardless, that's a good price and anyone looking should jump on the deal.

What's odd is that if you go directly to V1's website, it's $400. If you go to resellers, like Amazon or Ebay, the price goes up to $450 or even $500 in some cases! Crazy!

EDIT:

For anyone that doesn't know, V1 sends free lifetime firmware upgrades to you for your V1. On their website, you can enter in your serial # and see what upgrades are available for you. My Serial # returns with this output:

V1 Description: Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8—POP2 with Euro Mode. This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser.

Upgrade Recommendation: You already have our best.

GLWS!
I can floor the accelerator from my driveway, all the way to my job and not pass the speed limit...I love my truck, but it's sluggish as a fat chick on an uphill treadmill.

How much usage did you get out of it before "retiring" it? Does it still look new, any scratches, drop dents, etc?

I took it on 2 east coast road trips after I pulled it from the Nismo. The last trip was last November...been boxed up since then.

It's in pristine condition. Zero marks, scrapes, or scratches.

I guess you choose to ignore my PM? It was just an offer. Don't take it as an insult. I do feel disrespected by not at least declining my offer. I would pay what your asking. I will be moving on now.

I get emailed when someone replies, like just now, but I missed the email indicating I received a PM. Whoops!

I'm confident thy I've priced my item fairly, and will be starting an eBay auction on the near future which will actually have a "buy it now" of a higher price than what I'm asking for here.

No reason to get upset though. Take care, and bump!

Not upset. I'm just a direct kind of guy when I feel it's called for. Just hard to tell in my words. And yes it is prices well. But I have seen several for the same price. But I trust people here more so than other sites.
