i used to had 55-200mm but it will become a hassle of switch from 18-55 to 55-200 all the time back and forth. Plus you will have to carry it everywhere you go. Don't forget the risk of dusts getting into the sensor every time you switch lens.
This lens will cover all the range you need. Sure its not a 18-200mm but its half that price. Trust me, the image from 105mm and 200mm IS NOT that much difference at all! I have the 18-200mm now. you can sell the 18-55mm for around ~$150 on ebay and get this lens instead of spending another ~$230 for a 55-200mm which i guarantee 100% won't get use that often.

I just got my new D3000 today (my first DLSR) and was pretty underwhelmed with the 18-55mm lens, but overall impressed with the quality of the camera.
I'm seriously considering either this [very good] deal, or going with the highly-rated 16-85mm lens.

very highly considering this, especially for the VR factor. I have a 70-300 VR and and it kicks the crap out if my stock 18-55 because of the VR and I always wished the 18-55 had it. This is a good deal! Ill get in touch very soon if I decide to buy from you.
