I need some advice. I know I have asked a few of you about oil temp issues but I am still a little concerned. I drove home for the lake

I need some advice. I know I have asked a few of you about oil temp issues but I am still a little concerned.

I drove home for the lake today and my oil temp ran 260+ almost the whole drive (2 hours). The more research I do on oil temp the more I learn that is should run 220-225 in most cars. I know there are several threads on this but I was looking for people I know to respond. PM is fine or respond to this. I appreciate your thoughts.

yo, i've not seen mine that high, but fwiw, driving on farty far (44) today for a good hour got mine up to 235-240. This is only the second time I've seen it over 220. You should be fine

I made it to St. Louis this weekend for a wedding. Nice city... it's certainly interesting how some of your roads are higher than the buildings beside them Anyway, for the guy up above... I drove all around the city this weekend and my temps never got above 220; and I only hit that on the way there and back (around 4 hour trip).
