Anyone here? Feels like it's just me and the corn here.... I'm out of Waterloo, by the way. It'd be cool if people would wanna cruise out around Dubuque and Prairie Du Chien sometime.

Theres a few over on the 350z site. I knew several guys out there, running in cedar rapids, waterloo and iowa city if I recall. Good luck, most of the people I've talked to from Iowa with Z's have been pretty cool.

I live in Cedar Rapids, I have seen one or two 350Z and three or four 370z,
Just got a 370Z new from Iowa City. On May 29,2012, Color Red.:excited:

I might be driving the Nismo through in a month or so. If ya see an MB 370 Nismo, gimme a wave, cuz I'll be doing the same.

I was out driving in cedar rapids today,6-24, in my 370Z , what came up
next to me was a blue 370Z. And boy did we get the looks! Just donot see that many in iowa.:excited:

That's awesome! Was it an older lady driving it? haha I think the only two in my town I've seen is a Monterrey Blue and a Magnetic Black. I'm the guy with the Gun Metallic one in the 'loo. hmmm I'm trying to organize a cruise out to around Dubuque soon with some people... maybe you'd want in? :driving:

A men and a women around there 40's there is also a white in town. And a Blue 350Z There are three new 370Z's at Dave Wright, in Cedar Rapids. Cruise out would be fun.

No doubt, sounds like they're really coming in now! I'll keep ya posted :tiphat:

I live here in Davenport, and Ive seen a couple, including mine.

I'll be heading to Clear Lake July 27th from KC. I have yet to see a 370 on these trips.

Awesome! it'll be nice to have another 370 around! I think the next event planned is at the Greenwood Revival on June 8th.

Fort Dodge area here... See very few Z's here, 350 or 370.

Yeah, they are definitely few and far between out here. Be sure to check out the NICI boards. The groups really starting to grow. It's an awesome group of people.

Hello from Bettendorf. I bought my 2012 Roadster (Touring/sport and black) up in Wisconsin on June 21. I've put over 3000 miles on in since and toured the Allamakee County area a couple of times in in it. Trouble is, it's about time to put it away for the season. I've seen a few 370s but it seems that, in the Midwest, the Z is the most desired car that nobody buys. The local dealer had to put their 2013 inventory on sale by "Dutch auction" to get rid of them. I sure bought mine at a huge discount. Anyway, I love it. Wouldn't change a thing about it except maybe the visibility.

Glad you got a good deal! Yeah, you definitely have to learn how to properly set up your mirrors... Awesome that you're in the QC, I've got a bunch of friends that live over there.

I'm moving to the Des Moines area this spring! Anybody around there? I don't have a Z yet, but I'm working on it lol

Actually, the majority of the Iowa club is there. We'd love to have you!

Ya mine's been stored since about November. I'm just waiting on my turbo kit till I can get working in the garage again. This winter's been rough for letting out the car and stretching it's legs...

So I pulled the trigger on the NST pulley group buy this last month. Anyone had an aftermarket pulley installed in the state and have a recommended installer?

I'm not far from Dubuque! (SW corner of WI). My Z is not in storage for this winter haha. I only drive it when the roads are clear and I wash it down after every run. Pretty bad winter so far..so the car has been sitting :(. Long story..but I bought my 370z in the middle of January (which is why it's not in storage). The car was such a deal I had to trade my 350z in.

Awesome! That area is really pretty. My favorite area to cruise, I usually head that way. Can't say I'm not jealous of ya, ha

Hi to you in the red Z cruising through Windsor Heights after 5pm! (No, you didn't miss me, I don't have my Z out yet.)

Only seen 2 Zs all winter (silver parked at WDM Met Life visitors lot a week ago and the silver winter DD a buddy has), so it's nice to see them peeking back out!

I'm vowing to call out sightings this year. :)

The NICI (Nissan-Infiniti Club of Iowa) is having their first meet of the season this weekend, March 15th, :tup:

at The Ledges State Park in Boone, IA west of Ames. Should be fun, and decently warm! Hope to see some of you there! I will be. If the roads are mostly melted by then, the Z will be too... :driving:

Was that a silver Z with fangs that came up behind me this morning? Oh yes it was! Not even sure I got a waveback when I turned off, since the rearview is not very clear or straight (I usually have to duck a bit to see faces).

Started to get my z out a bit. Live in Clive and work in Wdm. There is a silver z parked in parking lot next door. Don't know business. Off of westown pkwy.

Getting my FI exhaust here being shipped in two days! Getting car detailed at Willis in a few weeks. For those of you around Wdm I highly recommend willis detailing. No swirl marks on black cars!!

Had mine out for the last couple of weeks here and there. Great to be back in it.

I drove mine over the winter, THAT was an adventure. I'm happy to have my summer tires back on, acts like a completely different vehicle.

Hey guys! Just picked up a black 2012 370Z NISMO not too long ago. Located in the West Des Moines area.

Buddy of mine in a Focus ST reported a black Z in the westown area just the other day.

I work off westown in that Regency business complex near 50th/westown. Don't be confused though, I've seen a silver Z in the MetLife parking lot a few times, last season a white Nismo visible from the 50th/I235 exit (never did find out who that is/was but have not seen it this year), and my gunmetal is parked in the back bordering I235.

I'm thrilled. The business realty group just put in a series of huge speed bumps in back. It's like a puzzle on how to get back there anymore without scraping the car or unnecessarily navigating pedestrians crosswalks at rush hours.

I've seen a dark silver 370Z in that parking lot while getting off at 50th before.

Was the black Z your buddy saw a NISMO?
