Nothing wrong with that. For me it's. matter of personal preference, don't want weather related wear/tear

Few years ago, I took out the bike during a nice 50F day in january. Snow was still thawing, salt present, etc. Wiped it down best I could afterwards. During the summer, I started to notice some corrosion on the brake line fittings. Rest of the bike seemed intact.

I wish I had a winter beater. Wouldn't worry about keeping the car clean/salt free.

FWIW, in another week we'll be averaging in the mid 40's+, so it's just around the corner.

With a car there just so many places salt water can get into, I prefer not to worry about it. I originally planned to dd my z and drive it year round but before first winter got my scion. Spring right around the corner= soon all of us will be hitting the roads.

Either way

Same thing here. Thought about buying a winter set of wheels and tires. Then I found a beater for the money they would have cost, and I'm glad I did. My beater is the poster child for how salt can mess up your car.

I drove my Z today to go to the dealership and get a new Steering Lock Unit installed. As you know, Nissan finally recalled these on RevA and RevB units. The dealership installed RevD. While having the Z out, I decided to go for a little drive..............man it felt great. Lets hope this RevD holds up.

First meet is not that far off. Anyone remember last March at this time? I do. We were in the 60's with a few days hitting 70 and 80F. What a difference a year can make!! Of course, at that time, I did not own my Z yet.

At this point, I'll take upper 40's, 50's would feel just great. It will come.

I remember this time last year quite well. I was breaking the car in, down south, hitting roads like TN129, TN143... I had an expected added surcharge to the trip. A year's time has passed already, so new slate

That is good to hear. Makes me feel better. Like I said, I haven't heard of any RevD's going bad, only A&B's. Hopefully Nissan has worked it out.

You coming to both the meets in April?

The Chicago Z meet shouldn't be a problem. The season opener I'll be on may way back from St Louis, I may be a little late but I'm going to try and make it.

I also got this today. Doesn't match the shift knob perfectly, but it goes with the silver trim pretty well. Does a good job of cleaning up the saggy shift boot.

Hey guys, would anyone by any chance have some pearl jam tickets they would like to sell? Looking for general admission or front field tickets. If so please pm me. I need 2 tickets.

Sorry to be jumping on this thread but seeing as the concert is in chicago thought this would be a good place to ask.

Thanks
