2012 Zdayz Caravan
 

I know there are a few people thinking about going this year.

I would be more than happy to get a group together to roll down together if anybody wants to join.

We leave Wednesday morning to beat the weekend rush. You will soon find out that Friday and Saturday the Dragon is overly crowded by Z's,G's, 1 liter's , and Harley's, and takes the whole experience out of it. ( or thrill I should say)

Let me know if you are interested and we can start planning.

Nice, we have a couple Z's coming down from Minneapolis, should be a nice size caravan.

We (2x 350z's) may consider joining this train, we will already be picking up one of our buddies in stl.

Cool, more the merrier, we can discuss logistics when it gets closer to may.

Are you talking about the couple from Red Wing? I don't know who they are, but they're in for a treat! :happydance:

No real plan yet. I know I'm planing on busting out of the valley Wednesday a little before 6am. Hoping to beat that morning traffic. Not sure what everyones sechdule looks like. More than welcome to join. Bring a radio.

First I'm seeing this. We have 8 G's coming down from St Paul/Minneapolis. We're staying in Chicago Tuesday night, and cruising to Knoxville by Wednesday evening. Heading straight to the dragstrip event Thursday morning.

We will be rolling through short of Knoxville, probably heading through Nashville and then in the dragon from Lenoir City.

We will be driving into st. louis on tuesday evening. Sleeping at / picking up gateway z member Gregg Westall, and then as well leaving before 6. He lives in Valley Park

one thing i might add, and not to sound like a bunch of babies not one of us really feels like getting speeding tickets on the way down there. Thinking about bringing local brews, and don't wanna get pulled over transporting beer across multiple state borders:eek: So if that's your plan it's only gunna waste your time to meet up with us.

I would venture to say I'll be running at 70-75, not sure if that's too fast?
But we will be meeting at a gas station just off 255&64 at 6:30am. Then running down through Nashville and into fontana that route. Not sure which way your group is headed.

But, I'm not going to be running 80+mph. I'm in Pull me over "Red" Z

^ oh no not too fast at all, haha. And didn't mean it like we're doing strictly the speed limit the whole time. Just didn't want to meet up with you guys and then you take off and do 90+ the whole trip.

i'll talk it over with the others, and see if that works out.

We'll be in Edindurgh In. Tuesday night...Then it's to Townsend Tn - outside of Knoxville Wed. night...Rolling into Fontana Villiage Thursday Noon.

I'll have a lookout for Z's and G's :tiphat:
