Thanks for having us out. It was a fun [and cold] day! Haha. It seems like my numbers were progressively getting better. The last run was the best at 447 whp and 380 ft-lb with boost around 9 PSI. Not bad with the F.I. HFC, but I'm pretty sure the gains will be better with test pipes. Updated comparison videos coming soon.
In regards to the little trophy. I'm flattered! I've got some cool ideas with LEDs for it before shipping it back to Ethan. :) Here's the dyno chart: http://www.the370z.com/members/digit...t-lb-9-psi.jpg |
Your car was looking great DIGI. It was great seeing all the cars run on the dyno. The problem is you see all the great cars and it leaves you feeling like there is more to do. My wife doesn't like it when I have that feeling lol.

I don't like it when I have that feeling. I know it's going to cost me more money.
|
haha good to see that my wallet wasn't the only one cowering in terror after i left the dyno day.

Haha thanks! Remember reading the import mags and envying and drooling over crazy fixed up cars? In HS, there was a guy who drove a beautiful fixed up 300ZX TT. He was only in HS, and he was very well known. He later drove an early 90s NSX to school as well. All I had was an '87 200SX SE-V6, which was retired in '05.
When I had the 350Z for 6 years, all it had were GReddy side skirts and Volk LE-37t (personal favorite). It turned heads, but didn't have the go go power to make it stand out. The least I could do with the 370Z is sorta bring back the old 300ZX TT sound and feel. It's not quite there, but the sounds from the turbos definitely brings back the good old 90s feeling. If you guys have hood modding suggestions, please let me know! It'll be cool to get some functional vents with CF inserts or something. In the meantime, I'll try to work on the video and mod the trophy on the side. |

If you show up next year I'm hoping to take that trophy:ugh2:...if I can get all the issues fixed. |
Jackson actually cut a hole in the upper part of the front bumper of his 350Z and put a carbon fiber insert in the hole, so now he has more cold air going into the engine compartment. I'm assuming he has an intake right behind the hole though. It looked pretty good.
|
^ actually still waiting on the air intake. should be here any day now. it took me longer than I thought to find it in the color I wanted. guess its pretty rare.
|
so who has the sweet pics of this shindig?
|
That would be digi....but he did show up later in the day. I was distracted by car problems to take pic's. The only ones I took were almost the same ones you took.
|
My friend will send pics later this week, so I will post some here. The files are huge.

Sweet vids! Pretty cool to hear the sound comparison. I never had a stock pull. Btw, I wonder if MKC applied corrections because the numbers on my print looks diff.
[ninja edit] ICS spellchecker fail. |
could that be one of your earlier pulls? i thought you were only in the 447whp neighborhood on the last pull
