July 16, 17th meet in KC or STL
 

Ok so it looks like we didnt get as many cars together as hoped to make the last meet happen. So a meet in a bigger city might be more ideal for a lot of people. I think the 16th would be far enough out for peolpe to have some notice and plan for it.

Anyways, first things first:

AREA - would you guys like to shoot for a meet in the KC or STL area?

DATE - would the 16th or 17th work better for everyone?

LIST - i know its a little early with us not knowing a set location and all, but i think if we made a list of people who were at least interested in a meet on that weekend then we could get a good idea of what size meet we are lookin at!

Just FYI....that's the Import Alliance weekend in Nashville.

I'll be out of town for a basketball tournament.

Generally after the 8th of August through mid September I'm available on the weekends. My whole weekend for this week will be spent buying a 370Z and driving it back to KC.

09 blue sport/tour...it has AAM short tails but I'll sell those and have already purchased Invidia Gemini...I've always had the hfc's in the past but this time I'm going to try and skip them...we will see.

Sounds legit. How much would you want for that short tails system when u part with it?

I'm not sure yet but pm me what you would be interested in paying...I could probably meet you somewhere with them so there is no shipping. I have not seen them yet but he told me they are still in the box and have never been put on the car.

Not for the last 2 years. I miss it a lot thus the reason I'm getting the Z. I got the third G35 6MT the dealership received. I was on a waiting list for 6 months. Back then I liked the G better than the Z. Currently I like the Z better than the G, so I'm buying a Z.

Lookin like we might have to reconsider the date or maybe the meet because of dwindling interest. anyone here ever been to a fast friday at kc trends??

No ive never been, seen pics from it though. I bought my wheels from kc trends. Its a pretty sweet shop they've got. I might be down for rolling up there for the fast friday. U know what time they usually meet up? Yeah it sucks we can't get enough z's for our own meet around here.

Heart of America Z Car Club is set for an "Art of the Car" show at KC City Market downtown (3rd and Grand) on July 31, from 10-2 with a parade entrance at 9:59

yeah id say the more the better. ive got a friend with a 08 350 that might be down to make the drive also.

Zcar_dad, if you know anyone with any previouse gen z's that would like to join then tell em to come! i agree the more the merrier! I know you have your hand in the kczclub and heart of america club, so extend the invite their way too

So with that being said, I think we should shoot for the 16th. Meet up around 12:00 noon at ... o how bout Jose peppers in Lees summit and get some food. take some pics, bs, cruise, plan another meet, just whatever we feel like doin!

Also, i will be extending an invite to the STI forum (as we know z's are scarce around these parts) and may have a few suby's showin up. Idc if this is exclusively a Z meet, so bring out all your friends!

Not sure about the meeting place. Not the best part of town and I don't think there is a lot of parking. Will put up the info on both Z sites.

Z are really not scarce around here - it is just hard to get them to come out and play. I know a lot of the younger guys in the KC Z Club work on Saturday (like one of my sons). Have placed info on both Z sites about the cruise/meeting. If you change meeting site or anything else let me know so I can update the clubs. joseph.schulte@gmail.com

Also, zcar dad has brought up a good point about parking at gates, i guess i didnt think about that. I've bought wheels from KC Trends also though it was at their previous spot. They did me right. I'm bummed that I won't have my car here yet for this.

I would be down for a meet (since my des moines meet only gathered nine cars :shakes head:), my volks get delivered on monday so I would want to do it after that if possible..

well you are more than welcome! the more the merrier. but idk if we will be able to meet nine cars.... kinda makes u jealous of those socal meets u see on here that get like 30+ cars

as of right now i don't think he can make it, but he is going to let me know for sure tonight.

Looks good. When is Fast Fridays at KC Trends. It is only about 20 minutes from my house unless KC Trends has another place other than the one in Overland Park.

Fast fridays is every other week. There is one this friday, the 22nd, at that kc trends in overland park. I will be there, but if i remember correctly you won't be getting your new ride till the 23rd right?

Correct. I fly to Detroit on Saturday to pick it up. I'm driving it back, so I won't be back until sometime on Sunday.
