As of right now, I'm supposed to help my sister in law move from Plainfield to Lebanon next weekend. I should have never picked up a truck for a DD.

Were there any other 370s out there?

I had the Z out for about 3 hours trying to fix some rubbing issues last night and never saw another 370 the whole time.

What's your normal "stomping grounds" and what color? I work off of Crittenden Drive and live in Clarksville. Brilliant Silver.

Anyone in the Bloomington, IN area? Would be cool to meet other 370z enthusiasts. I just bought mine and trying to get it modded.

Define area.

I'm on the west side of Indy. Once the weather gets a bit better I'll be passing though that area on occasional weekends looking for entertaining roads.

The Indy Z Car Club meets the second Thursday of every month at the Rusty Bucket in Indy. Everyone is welcome to drop by and meet the folks who are there.

The club puts on cruises periodically. There are usually several generations of Zs at each event.

There will be a car show in Chicago this year. It moves between four clubs. Cleveland had it last year, Indy the year before.

What sort of mods are you thinking about?

I had no idea about this! I just moved to Giest on the north east side. Good info to have for when the weather is nice!

Sounds awesome.

I just installed a short ram air intake yesterday which took 2 hours too long. Got the car tinted on Friday. Ordered carbon fiber emblems for front and back and also a carbon fiber license plate frame.

I'd like to get the car lowered a bit so I was looking at getting Swift Spec R springs.

I'll probably be changing out the catback exhaust and was also thinking about installing this wing: Motorsport! EVO-R Nismo High Wing with Carbon Fiber, 09-14 370Z* - The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts

Sounds like you have a plan. The 370Z is such a beautiful platform to begin with, it's hard to go wrong.

Before you lower, ask yourself about real world clearance. I scraped the bottom of my Roadster, with a stock suspension, when my wife and I were on vacation in Nova Scotia. Wheel rutted road, to be sure, but the Z's road clearance is already pretty tight. (Just a thought - your car/money/taste, of course.)

IZCC is meeting the 12th at 7 PM at the Rusty Bucket, 1130 West 86th Street, Indy. We have a private room reserved there. Granted, at an hour and a half away, it's not exactly local, but you're welcome to come and meet some of the more active members. We're always looking for potential new members.

Nice to meet you and the IZCC guys last night. Hope to see you at Cars & Coffee.

It was nice to meet you too, Todd. I'm glad you could make it to the meeting, and hope to see you at future meetings and events. Because of my schedule I can only make it on average half of the time, but I/we try.

As of now, the weather liar is threatening us with a high of 52 and afternoon rain for the 21st. I don't know if it'll be a top-down day, but I do plan to go to Cars and Coffee. If you need directions, don't hesitate to holler. I plan to be there early enough to get breakfast with Irene.
