OP's noise ordinance is for loud stereos, you know the ones, where you can hear the awful music 6 cars away and the bass rattles your windows. 
OP cops have been pretty nice to me. Maybe it's because of the veteran's tag with a USMC sticker on it.  I've dodged many a ticket, getting a 'wagging finger' as a warning.
