Going from a highly modified 350Z to a 370Z Nismo, felt like an exponential jump rather than just a step up or two. Of course I too am curious to see what they'll do with the next iteration of the Z platform. I've read the articles about a mid range FR-S style vehicle (might or might not be the Z) and I've seen the ones that mention a higher and lower option (diesel turbos and such for more power and better gas mileage). Personally my two cents is that it's time to either break away from the VQ, or make a drastic change to the platform to lower the weight and/or offer a +2 version.
Do a search for "Nissan green lights "mini Z" " on that other forum, they have some discussion on it going there. |
