It depends. I know I go to Lee's Summit Nissan. I'm a little bias since I have bought 3 Z's from them. They have always done me right and they are by far the best car dealer I have every dealt with and this Z is probably the 17th car I have bought.
When I get back in town and the car licensed I'm going to take up there and get the first oil change and ask them about the steering lock recall.

Hmmm starting to like the idea of just yanking the fuse the more I read about it

sboden 03-11-2013 11:31 PM

No since in replacing it if it isn't broke and if it does brake they are going to replace it with another one that will brake.

If it isn't broke snip it, pull the fuse, or buy the harness. I'll post the links if you want. They are all here in the Z forums.

You shouldn't need it as your car is new enough it shouldn't have the part in it. Now why would they do that if they didn't know for the last couple of years it was a problem....hhhhmmmm......

I know my car doesn't need it. Just checking to see if my dealer had the parts if anyone wanted to get it changed out:tup:

Well, Since my car was already torn apart from all the parts im painting, i went ahead and just pulled the fuse on mine even though its a later 2011. It still has the SLU you never know, so bye bye fuse. Took only 15 mins.

Well good to know. Yes those are now on the list and the FI, depending on the price, are off. They both look the same as well. So if one is $14k and the other is 6k. Easy choice. They will go great with the 4.5 upgrade I'm saving up for right now.

It's the new GTM twin turbo kit on the FI page....I guess blackandorange has some inside info on the price. The price is for every stage as well.

tower74 03-12-2013 03:17 PM

Oh and I read they also do financing now on their products. GTM just raised the bar for everyone to hit. That's how you take out the competing turbo companies.
