Buried in paperwork and work. Over 10,000 miles driven in the last month alone and not the fun kind. Ugh.

benji 09-13-2014 11:49 AM

hey guys! im in columbia, do you ever have any meets or anything on sundays? typically my only day off! as far as i know there is only one other 370 here in columbia and i havent had a chance to meet him yet

edub370 09-15-2014 08:30 AM

welcome! we just had a meet this past sunday actually (that i completely missed). but we have a decent group of local Z's here in kc that get together fairly often, so keep an eye on this section. I don't know of any Z's in como but i know of a couple GTR's out there. (usually if you find one of those cars, you find the other lol).

benji 09-17-2014 04:26 PM

will do man - i know of the white GTR here in columbia, my friend sold his dark grey one about 6-8 months ago, that was the only guy i knew personally. Im always down for a road trip to Meet some Z owners, have an Aunt in KC i could crash there for a night. PM me if you guys have any sat night/ sunday meets coming up in the near future!

edub370 09-19-2014 10:30 AM

no way. i actually know the dude with the white gtr in como. he has come to a fast fridays with us before

benji 09-20-2014 09:48 AM

yeah its a pretty slick ride, i know he has a mean exhaust setup, he drives past my dealership from time to time and makes sure to get on it :). I would love to have one.. maybe when they hit the 45k price range for a decent one ! anything going on this weekend Edub?

benji 09-20-2014 09:52 AM

Fast Fridays this Friday at Aristocrat. Charity event.

"We are excited to announce that we are bringing back our Charity Car Show benefiting the T.A.K.E. Organization (Ali Kemp Foundation) Since I met Roger Kemp several years ago I have admired his actions promoting the teaching of girls and women's self defense. So for the final FF of 2014 we wanted to do something bigger and better than our last TAKE car show.

The Car show will be held September 26th at Aristocrat Motors lower lot, (you can't miss it) and will start at 6pm and end at 10pm. Car show registration is NOW open, we are limiting the amount of cars to 150, this WILL sell out very quickly so get registered at the shop or call in with your info as soon as possible. Registration is $20 per car with 100% of all proceeds going directly to Roger and the organization.

On top of the car show we will have entertainment such as a DJ booth, Several food trucks, and desert trucks, as well as activities for the kids!

But most importantly we are bringing back the LIVE auction. Last time we raised almost $20,000 dollars, and with the help and support of the local small business community I think we can beat that!!! Please inbox me, call me, email me, or stop by with you donations for the LIVE auction.

This FAST FRIDAYS is sponsored by -

Aristocrat Motors
FUEL Bar & Grill
One Block South
Toyo Tires
Dropstars Wheels
TIS Wheels
Santa Fe Tow Service
Exotic Motors Midwest
Memphis Car Audio

If you have any questions regarding this event, sponsorship, donations, vendor booths, or the charity please call me at the shop 913-962-5200.

Click www.takedefense.org to learn more about our favorite local charity.

Once again, 100% of the money raised from the car show, and auction go to the foundation!!!"

Agree especially based on the turnout of the last one we went to...what was it 8 cars? and two of them were ours.

There was a sweet nude colored Fiat with numerous European stickers though...

project_zed 09-24-2014 12:22 PM

There are at least 2 events that contain the names "Cars & Coffee" One is at The Roasterie of Southwest Boulevard and the one I posted above is at the Kansas City Automotive Museum in Olathe.

Based on the pictures on the the attendance at The Roasterie was thin but thought the attendance at KCAM was "respectable".

m3chhawk 09-25-2014 03:05 PM

There is also the one that was way south at that new AutoPlex.
The one that was held at Homer's on Metcalf.

There are too many...

edub370 09-25-2014 03:06 PM

i have yet to go to any of them

Ghostvette 09-25-2014 03:41 PM

I went to one at Homer's. Not a bad turn out, just not enough room in the place.

I saw pictures of today's event on a friends Facebook page and it looks like they had a pretty good turnout. I am hopeful this event sticks around.

Hello all KC friends! I moved here a year ago in a modded wrx, and just traded it for a Z recently. (tried to limit myself mod wise, but the bug has bitten and i'm already feeling the itch again).

Just a friendly hello to all you guys, and I hope to see you around!

Ghostvette 10-02-2014 01:03 PM

Welcome to the forum victor, look forward to seeing you soon.

Well, now that winter is coming, I just spent 4 hours sunday detailing it and doing coats of paint sealant before I stow it away. But next year I'm planning on having a shift knob custom made by lathewerks (had one of Chris's before and they're fantastic), tint, exhaust, front sway, and some tires that can actually handle the road (like direzza ZII or ventus RS3).

That'll be it until I pay it off, and then I might go with a FI kit from boosted performance.

Somewhere in there I'll paint the headlight housings black...if I have the cajones to cook 'em

Edit: oh and a set of 18x10 and 18x9 wheels as well. 19s are just stupid expensive to fund...
