Hmm, maybe. I'll have to drop some stuff off first so not sure if I will even be there by 5:30. If I'm not I'll just see you guys there anyways. This should be a really big FF since it is the first one.

Hi guys, any of you go to track days at heartland Topeka? Never been but I hear it's a good time. Wondering if there are any events where local z owners show up.

Gilianz 05-01-2014 02:57 AM

Hey, does anyone know where I can buy some Plasti-Dip? I am wanting the lime green or bright yellow color for some other application (painting my keyboard case... Yes, I am a nerd). I can't seem to find it anywhere, besides online.

i've only been out once with the porsche club. i wouldn't mind starting to go out there more often (bearing that they can clean up the surface a bit)

Re. track days, Heartland Park as one once a month, usually on Wednesday nights. Heartland Park Topeka | Touring Club

MAM just south of Omaha has a similar event called Fast Fridays: http://www.midamericamotorplex.com/2...s_schedule.pdf

Depending on where you live, MAM is a couple of hours up I-29.

JacksonZ33 05-01-2014 08:54 AM

thanks everyone for coming out last night.

What Jackson said. We had another great turnout although the chilly weather made hanging out in the parking lot a challenge.

Well... that's a bummer... guess i'll go order it online then. That stuff is so handy compared to paint. No prep! Well, for the most part.

edub370 05-02-2014 09:16 AM

Taking off work early to clean the car for ff. feelin good!

JacksonZ33 05-05-2014 10:02 AM

everyone have fun at the ferrari show friday. boooo.

i mean not going to like like don't want one. but a whole row of stock ones doesn't do anything for me at custom car show. kc trends totally missed the point imo. :shakes head:

did successfully get 2 pairs of headlights painted this weekend tho.

I guess I'm not understanding what your trying to say?

edub370 05-07-2014 11:25 AM

meaning that $4k is new pads and rotors for a gtr. dang things are pricey

And again I don't understand why that's relevant to the fact that I have 4,500 saved towards my down payment for a GT-R. You guys are being tools and showing how ignorant you are when taking about the GT-R. Rear and front rotors, pads, brake lines, motul fluid all for $1,700.00. OEM can exceed 4k but I'll leave that to the idiot that wants to pay that much for OEM that won't last longer and heavier then my aftermarket setup.

Did I say I was saving for a break job?

And what you spent on coils last week I sent on two pair of shoes irrelevant right?

You let me know where you can find Brembo brakes and rotors for $1700 for all 4. They may say Brambo. I added a link to the set up that is on my car. For some odd reason it says it's not for my car but they are installed. (I seen the boxes and was shown while they were being installed). So yeah 4k for all is a little high but with installation. I'm sure it could easily hit $3k-$3.5k. Just from personal experience.

Plus I'm pretty sure he was just giving you a hard time.:inoutroflpuke:

Well the Nismo wheels on my Z go into the shop on Monday. They are being painted a gloss black with the Nismo stamp being painted Monterey Blue. Should change the look of the car a bit. Congrats on the new addition pbhakta.

sboden 05-10-2014 08:20 PM

You know everyone would love you to have a GT-R which is why it was obvious they were just poking fun. I mean they didn't even mention the $200 oil changes :stirthepot:

They range from $90-$120. The $200 is at Hendrix. I laughed in his face when he told me it would be around $200 :roflpuke2:. Hell the oil is only $65 for a gallon

Actually I was just trying to stir the pot. I didn't even know there was a place that actually charged that.

Anyone going to KC2K14 tomorrow at Side Pockets in Blue Springs? 5pm-11pm.

sboden 05-15-2014 04:39 PM

I'm thinking about it. I've already made that drive twice this week for my wheels. I do work OT tomorrow so somewhat depends on how I feel.
