awesome! you're up in my neck of the woods. we have a pretty good group of guys around here, so if you can't make this meet, i'm sure we'll have a few opportunities to get together and meet everyone this summer

sboden 05-27-2012 09:12 AM

Edub is the unofficial grand master of events for the KC group.

hey you don't have a license plate that reads fantse do you? Saw a black 370 with an exhaust right up by zona rosa . however it looks like a base, ie. no spoiler. Sounded like out had an exhaust

TenaciousZ 05-29-2012 09:47 AM

No Im not very Fantsy haha.

No exhaust either - bone stock for now.

May be a nismo exhaust in my future though....

I have my bags packed to leave for the Branson Z Fest on Thursday morning. Anyone else on this board heading down? MO has the most entries (43) as of right now, with KS (18) and the total is around 110 from all over. Still not to late to register and head down.

edub370 05-29-2012 11:32 AM

jsut curious... if a guy were to register this late, what are the chances of getting a decent hotel room booked?

JacksonZ33 05-29-2012 11:57 AM

here's my go-pro footage of me and my dad running the dragon.

be nice, only my second time ever editing video.
(skip to 2min. if your impatient)

I'm not heading down until Friday. Plus it's suppose to be nasty on Thursday. Me and the money pit have a serious dislike for rain .

edub370 05-29-2012 01:02 PM

its tempting to go for at least a night.... although thats quite a drive for just a night... decisions decisions

tower74 05-30-2012 06:15 AM

It's only about 3.5 hrs from KC.

TenaciousZ 05-31-2012 03:58 PM

Quick question for anyone in the north kc area,

Where is the best place for tint?

I'm right by tint master and kc tint works.

I think I'm leaning tint master but want to make sure Im not missing out on something better.

Thanks

pbhakta 05-31-2012 04:26 PM

I got mine done at PDIClearbra. The website is PDIClearbra.com and believe charges $125 for tint. I did my sides at 35% and back at 20%. The result is amazing and backs up his work. Talk to Eric if your interested. He is located down south however off of 87th and I-435 in lenexa. I also got my clearbra installed by him and he did an amazing job.

My clear bra was done here also. Eric does a fantastic job. I would definitely send people his way.

TenaciousZ 06-02-2012 08:57 PM

Thanks for the suggestions!

I ended up going to tint master yesterday.

Replaced the factory tint on the sides and got a sun strip.

Couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Letting the sun bake it in all weekend.

I may post a few pictures when its fully dry and cars clean.

edub370 06-03-2012 09:59 AM

nice. they do good work. lets see some pics of that thing

Will any KC guys be in STL this weekend? We are meeting up and going for a cruise on Sunday.

tower74 06-04-2012 09:31 AM

Nope...car took a serious dump yesterday. I'm hoping I only lost a plug and not the engine.

it is your tune that caused it, you have to get a proper tune done by someone who knows WTF is going on with a Z and Uprev!

Well it's two problems....random misfire and intake camshaft position timing - over advanced .... Thinking it's the cam sensor that's causing all my issues. $90 fix I hope. The part just came in so tonight I have to hope the 5 minute fix is the only problem. If not then it's tearing the engine apart time.
