Is there a place in KC that can provide a good tune for our cars?

Also I don't have any air tools... would someone like to help me switch out my rotors sometime in April? Your choice of beer will be included ![]()

You can also get an e-tune. Z1 has this option, and a good e-tune can be just as good as a dyno tune provided the tuner knows his stuff. dynos are for people who care to know the numbers more than anything

i personally feel a road tune is the most ideal because a dyno simulates perfect conditions and you rarely get that. e-Tunes are road tunes that take longer because a person isn't in the car with you. I've never let a tuner solely give me a dyno tune...it's always road then touchup low end and redline fueling a bit on the dyno

Agreed. I did this with my first turbo charged Z and it was a nightmare. You only receive a basic tuning screen and unless you know exactly what you are looking at they can screw up your car and they will not be held responsible. You really need a real tuner to see what is happening and what he is feeling. It was hard to describe some of the things happening unless you do it every day not when you are road tuning it for the first time. Hell, when I put it back to stock and loading the stock tune it almost screwed up my car because we forgot to remove the larger injectors. Leave it to the experts when it comes to tuning. Trust me.

Let me know how those are as sometime in the near future I'll be looking at brakes. Not sure what direction to go yet though. My only purchase coming up is new rear tires. Looking to try the 305 route with Michelin Super Sports.

Will do... and on that note, I am running Bridgestone S-04 pole position tires. They are quite nice. I feel as if it has more grip than Hankook and the stock tires

So I have decided on a set of SSR GTV03 19x9.5 +20 and 19x10.5 +15 in black. EBC Slotted rotors with red stuff pads. Now just waiting for PM back from a vendor so I can get things going.
Edit: So I may have also found a fix for my Tomei not sitting right. Apparently, I don't need the clamps and springs on at the same time so I may be able to fix it so that I can have my brace bar back on my car. Love the help from the forum! Also has anyone replaced their rotors? I hope it isn't too hard of a task.
