We didn't drive crazy and we were always safe. I don't do crazy on public roads either.

The cops weren't after you guys, some idiot ran over a pedestrian on I-35 about 5:30 or so. It was crazy, the scanner was going nuts over it. I had to work so I couldn't make it. On a side note, I solved part of my 'can't go to meets' issue... removed the gf....

Lol no way. Well I have a radar as a precaution. We never saw them. Me and Glenn did our route. It was amazing. Never knew missouri had it like that

Yeah we never saw any cops. I wondered what happened. Everyone started peeling off and it was just Owais (Zod) and I. Maybe next time. There are some great roads up there.

i completely lost u guys on 435 waiting up for Jon to catch up in his 5.0 (some dude blocked him off exiting our meet spot)

ghotnit, victorofhavoc, i need to get your guys' numbers so i can call next time i fall like 2 miles behind. i was SOL on trying to catch up and had nobodies numbers.

side note, the cop that went buy me at like 100+ scared the **** out of me too much to try and play catch up lol

Don't forget diminished value after they get the car fixed.

I was told that will have to be taken up in small claims court because the insurance company does not get involved in decreased value due to accidents reported on the vehicle.

Very true, they don't. Is the person who hit you not responsible for paying for the damages? I'd think if you're having to pay for it you might as well just do the job in a small shop without insurance and keep the accident off your insurance record. More money up front, but less diminished value.

Depends on the state and the way the insurance related laws are written. In Kansas, it says something along the lines that after an accident, the victim must be make whole, which generally includes diminished value. Talk to the insurance commissioners office, they should give you straight scoop on that. Based on what I've heard, small claims court is for amounts usually under 2k, diminished value on a GT-R is probably going to blow that out of the water. I've got a diminished value claim pending with Allstate after the idiot backed into my car, we'll see how it turns out.
