I'm with Edub in that when you get into that price range it is about emotional connection more for me than stats. I could buy one of the fastest cars out there but I'll end up buying what I feel most connected with and 911 turbo is one of those cars. I'd never turn down a GTR nor will I bash one, nor will I think less of someone who owns one. I do not have an emotional feeling for that car is all.

talking used prices tho. And u can easily get into a 996 turbo for $40k. 997 will be around $70k+. 996 turbo gets my vote

for instance: if you push a gtr too hard into the corner, it will have loads of grip then eventually start to understeer letting u know you're pushing it too hard, a 911, on the other hand, will have loooooads of grip followed by promptly spinning and putting u *** first into a ditch. now thats a terrible example, but its the only thing i could think of to explain the difference in a drivers car vs a gtr. both will get thru the corners very quickly, but that certain element of danger in the back of your head in the 911 adds a little excitement imo. now i'm not saying the GTR is a bad car or anything. hell i'd drive one, but i do understand why people say they are big video games

Well I just got it roughly a week ago, all stock. 2011 Solid red, Nav, sport, manual, 4,200 miles, pretty much a cream puff repossessed from a guy who went to jail because he got deported (WTF right?? I know!!). I had to drive all the way to Chicago (9hr drive) to trade in the S2000. Definitely worth it, not missing the S2k at all, well actually just one complain/observation: the stock exhaust on the Z is not very loud. The S2000 stock exhaust is hands down!
