Anyone in Mn Twin Cities down for a random cruise?
 

Anyone else feel like cruising in a small group? I feel every now and then it would be a blast for a few to hit the streets...I have a nice car maybe not a z and you all have damn nice cars soo...

sorry man my Z doesnt come out for another week, and when it does I have soooooo much stuff to do to it

Completely understand.. Just got my car out for the summer myself. The idea though was sort of an open ended thing.. for whenever anyone wants to just have a laid back drive.

I'm up for cruising in style around Minnesota. I may or may not get a Z by May 1st, so it all depends though. I'm in Brooklyn Center and I'd like to drive all over Minnesota, and then all over the U.S. later on.
If I do get a 370Z, I'll try to drive it everyday after work just for the hell of it.

I'm always up for something random. Any excuse to get the Z out and drive around is a good one.

I did see the large mn group post but had something a little less formal in mind.. along the lines of "hey were bored right now lets get drive"..

Hey HonestlyLying, very suspicious name there (heheh), but what car do you have? Besides the public transportation thing, :p . I'm just curious, you don't have to reveal it or anything.

Sadly I do not have a Z. I effin love them though and will own one eventually. I have a Lotus Elise.

A Lotus Elise? I hear some people on here really like that car.

I almost bought and Elise instead of the Z sadly I couldnt find the one I wanted. Honestly ive never even sat in one id love to meet up sometime and go for a drive.

I plan to be at every C and C I can make and I am always down to just cruise around in the summer!!

I just got my 370Z today. I'm ready to drive! Name the place and the time... when the weather cooperates. (x_x)

Thats awesome man!! You should post some pics! From the look of the weather it is going to be almost a week before it is pretty nice out BUT I noticed signs for street sweeping and most potholes are being filled so that is a huge plus!

Thanks HonestlyLying and SmoothZ. I just have a question if any of you can help out.
I'm trying to install the Amuse wing on my Z, but I can't remove the hatch cover.
So I need a phone number of a good custom auto shop that can install it for me, and not a shop that will take a joyride in my new car. Installing my wing shouldn't take more than hour if they have the right tools.

As far as the random drive goes, I guess we wait til the weather gets better. I'm going to wax the car as well so the paint is protected.

One of our faves is Hwy 60 down by Winona. You cut through some awesome hill country and lots of people are discovering it every season.

I've never been to Winona, at least I don't remember it, so I'm not too familiar with the location. The scenery sounds good! :)

I think some city driving with lots of onlookers would be ideal, heheh.
Like drive along the city lakes, Lake Calhoun, Lake of the Isles, Lake Harriet, Hiawatha parkway, etc. Sorry if this is lame as it's nothing special, :p .

We've done meets at Calhoun and Harriet, but we never get tired of it. I know we've met for breakfast down there in that area, then cruised around the lakes, parked, chilled out, then had an early lunch.

you guys do things to early!! where is the love for night workers with Z's?

Most of us have 'normal' jobs with bankers' hours. Might want to try it. :stirthepot:

Dubbs03, I'm fine with night driving as well. I'm looking to do some night driving after work, but only for 1-2 hours after it's dark. Weekdays or weekends.

:D Some of us tried to do some night driving last weekend. I'm also up for it later in the Summer when it's nicer.

It doesnt have to be at night just sometime after 12 noon would be good haha.

Oh, in that case for sure. Our May 7th meet starts early, but we're also staging at around noon for the photoshoot by Ikea in that empty lot. After that, we're leaving for a burger joint in Hastings before taking a drive into WI and some back roads.

Well not only do I work nights but also every other weekend. (my job isnt as bad as it sounds.) and that happens to be weekend to work, but Im going to make a meet for sure before the summer is over!

Anyway.... I'm in Apple Valley. Wherever you guys are, we can try to find a central spot to meet.

I would be interested in an afternoon situation maybe after 3 or 4... but am open to pretty much anything!

Just wanted to throw a fun idea out that I had. More in the middle of summer I would love to do a midnight cruise. Have a few people with mounted cameras and get maybe 10 people to come out. There are a lot less people on the road at night and would let us really have the roads to ourselves for the most part. Thoughts anyone?
