Anyone have an FI exhaust near Columbus that I can hear?

Bowshier86 05-24-2012 09:29 AM

I just ordered their high flow cats but I will have a much more exotic y pipe back. Not sure if you would want to hear that but I plan to go to one of those Saturday Columbus meets soon

I randomly ran into a small C & C meet at Lennox Saturday morning in Columbus. Lots of nice cars, couple 350s and GTRs but no 370s (plus a GT500 and Boss 302 Mustang, few SRT8 chargers, 911, STI, M3, and a M5). They meet just about every Saturday around 10 AM. I'm going to start going and it would be nice to get a few 370s there.

Are you going today?

Not this week. But I will be there next Saturday.

As for exhaust notes. I have ARK exhaust installed and it sounds pretty good. Someone even told me that as I was driving up high street this week.

Mid West Z Heritage Show July 6-8th 2012 Columbus, Ohio

On behalf of ZROC, we are pleased to invite you to one of the premier auto events in the Central Ohio area, The 30th Annual Arthritis Auto Show. The Midwest Z Heritage event will be held as part of the Arthritis Show as a "Show within a Show" format. The event will take place over two days, July 6th and 7th, 2012. In addition, we have arranged for those who desire a more challenging event; a "Track Day" at Mid-Ohio Motorsports Park, on Sunday the 8th of July. (Additional participation fee of $199.00)

The Organizational Committee looked at several possible venues for the Midwest Z Heritage Show, and frankly there was too much about the Arthritis Show that overwhelmingly made it the first choice. ZROC has been participating in the event for many years and we have experienced the following. The location, in the Metro Center Office Park, in Dublin, makes for a truly dynamic experience, with segregated parking areas, grass and water features, entertainment and vendors that will provide information, car products, and nourishment. Spread out over 50 acres of one of Central Ohio's premier office parks you'll find 1,200 to 1,500 automobiles. Classics, Antiques, Muscle, Italian, British, German, and Japanese sports cars, curiosities and domestic all fill in to make it a "Gear Heads Wonderland." Annually the "Show within a Show" has been the host to Jaguar, GTO, Buick, Mustang and others, providing both a segregated event that you only needed to cross the street to find hours of wander wonder and pristine automotive history.

The Arthritis Auto Show provides the backdrop, but the Midwest Z Heritage event will be as it has for many years, we will have a Peoples Chioce event and individually judged and ZCCA scored event. Competition will be based upon Stock, Modified, and Daily Driver classes, for all generations. Friday evening arrivals will have time to prepare and also participate in the evening entertainment. At the conclusion a reception with Cash Bar will be held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel where a trophy ceremony will provide our Region with the conclusion of the Show's event. Plan to stay over on Saturday evening and enjoy the live entertainment where participants and visitors will relax and unwind from the busy day. Those who have a need for speed can rest up for the Sunday morning drive to Mid-Ohio where we will be guest of the USA AUDI Club for a Track Day. This will allow you several sessions to run the famed Mid-Ohio 2.2 mile circuit. Classes from Novice to Advanced will be available, including instruction and supervision to make it an enjoyable and safe and challenging day letting your Z exercise its DNA! This Is Not Your Normal Z Heritage Show we will have recognition of the tuner element of Z'ism

Visit our website Midwest Z Heritage Show 2012 or our Facebook Page ZROC, OHIO G Club, Midwest Z Heritage, Midwest Z/G Heritage.

I would be the single exhaust. I didn't see any other 370s, however I did a poor job of looking around.

LunaZ 06-11-2012 07:28 PM

GUYS! I know im a newbe on here, but I gotta let OHIO People know something!!!
One of my work friend's good buddy just opened up a new shop not a long ago. It' located south of cleveland area. Will get more details on location later.

Anyway he said the first 3 guys he gets, doesn't matter if it's a G or a Z he gives a $500 deal for the Osiris Tuner version ECU tune by UpRev. It includes everything, the Dyno and all. This is heck of a deal!
So Me, my buddy from work in his Z are already in, and now we need one more person. Im sure he can get this deal to more people then just 3. He just need 3 people minimum to give this deal out.
UpRev sells their tuner version for $700 and that's not including dyno and all. Dyno runs are usually $79 per hour these days. So figure. This is pretty much 50% off on a OSIRIS TUNER complete tune and all the labor guys.

Anyway this guy is genius from what I heard, i've talked to guy in person. Really nice guy. His shop does pretty much all the engine and mechanical work you can throw at it.

Alright who's down for this??!!
Let me know if anyone got questions!

People who are in so far;

Shurik355 -- G35S
Paul S --- 350Z

Is anyone else on this forum members of the Cleveland Z Club (http://www.clevelandzclub.com/czc/)? I joined this year and there are a lot of great people. There were many of us that spent time together @ ZdayZ last month. Every year, there are get togethers at members houses, or meetings to drive.

Also, I have been going to Solon Commons on Tuesdays for their car show. It is on Aurora Road between Cochran and SOM Center Roads. Last week, I was the only Z in the parking lot, but there were two GT-R's. Most of the cars are the typical "muscle cars" but still cool none the less. I will be going tomorrow so I hope to see some of you there.

Ubetit 06-18-2012 10:28 AM

Silver 370z roadster coming down 23 near 270. Unfortunately my car is in the shop with a broken headrest so I was in a loaner Altima.

I am on the Cleveland Z Club forum albeit not very often. I did go to a meet last year with them and they were a bunch of great guys!

I need to get up and check out that Solon thing. I have heard good things about it from a few people. I'm not sure when I will be able to as I am usually working very late during the week and it is a good hour drive up there for me. What time does it go down?

I usually get there about 5:30 and leave about 8:30. It's just enough time to walk around a few times, shoot the shizzle with some people and then leave. Of course, I'm only 30 minutes away, so it's not so bad for me.

Cool beans! Just to let you know of a few meets coming up in July and August:

1) July 25th (Wednesday) at Simas Market (on Aurora Road across from the old Geauga Lake). There is a car meet and the evenings "theme" is called "Foreign Frenzy". There are about 7 of us going from the Cleveland Z Club, so we hope you can make it. We are all parking together to make our presence known.

2) August 14th (Tuesday) at Solon Commons. The "theme" is "2-seat sports cars". The theme cars get to park up front and I know that I will be there.

We need meets like this to be able to put a name to a face.

Absolutely!!! It seems that there will be more of us in attendance at the "Foreign Frenzy" show at Sima's Market on Wednesday, July 25th than the one at Solon Commons on August 14th. Either way, I'll be at both so hope to see you soon.
