Zdayz caravan from Minnesota
Two of us are going from the Twin Cities and will be passing through Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I normally go to Rockford, IL and then head south on I-39 to Bloomington, follow I-74 through Champagne to Indy.
If anyone wants to meet us on the way down and caravan with us, we'd welcome the company. First time I went was in 05 and was by myself until Lexington, KY. I ended up with a caravan of 20 Z's all the way to FVR. The next year, I went with a buddy to Chicago and hooked up with that crew. We are planning to leave on Wednesday. If you're interested, post up and let's get organized!

If we leave Wed morning, we won't be in KY or TN until Thursday morning at the latest.

You guys will probably see a few more Z's than us since you'll be closer to the action.
Wait, after looking at the map I see that it would take us 8 hours to drive from my city to St Louis. If you guys are willing to let us sleep on your front porch, we could meet you in St Louis and head out with you in the morning. BTW, why so early? Is there an event you need to make that day?

Got some people interested in paying for space at my cabin, so I hope everyone has a place to stay. I'm looking forward to the drive and trying to figure out how we're going to get to FVR with 129 closed down. This should be interesting.

You guys square away plans yet?
I'm looking to leave Thursday morning. Maybe we could meet up for early lunch in Knoxville. I think a group from Michigan will be rolling through mid-late Thursday morning also. Maybe we could do a Thursday Mid-West Caravan. Let me know if you guys are interested and maybe we can start a "Mid West Caravan" thread here and at my350Z.com and get things more organized.

That's cool. I've just been lurking at this point. Not 100% positive I'll be able to be away from work yet but look pretty good.
Actually it looks like Lexington KY may be a good meeting point. This would bring everyone together sooner, without anyone going very far out of the way. Have yo guys made plans for a departure time from St. Louis yet?

Yeah, I'm getting cabin fever too.
My schedule is flexible, and I'm the closest so I won' have to get up as early as you guys. I just spent a few minutes on maps.google and this is what I came up with: 6.5 hr. (345 mi) to Lexington KY – from Detroit, MI (via I-75) 2.25 hr. (135 mi) to Lexington KY – from Dayton, OH (via I-75) 5.75 hr. (340 mi) to Lexington KY – from St. Louis, MO (via I-64) 5.5 hr. (285 mi) to Fontana Village Resort – from Lexington KY (via I-75/SR441 subject to change, alt. SR129) Looks like we could meet around noon (give or take an hour or so), in Lexington. I posted a message on the my350Z.com forum for the Michigan guys. Phreakedout is over there, and hangs out here on the370Z.com, and I think he may have helped with organizing Zdayz also -not sure. I think they have about 1/2 dozen Z guys rollin' down. Also, I think ZROC (Ohio Z club may have group going down also.)

I'll spend some more time trolling the other forum, and try to pull together a more definitive plan.
I think lunch in Lexington fro a meet and great prior to the last leg of the drive would be a great idea. At this point my only hang up will be getting away from work on the 20th and 21st. But I think if I catch my boss at the right time, I should be able to weasel out!
