June meetup [West Michigan]
 

Rusty was inquiring if I was going to have a get together again and I said sure, why not. Looking around June 17th as thats when he will be rolling through the 'hood. We are planning a cruise from Northern Grand Rapids up to Traverse city for eating, shopping and whatever floats our boat, ice cream is a good bet. Please remember to bring a bit of cash with you. ;)

Let's get the list started! I plan to smoke and bring some meats for a dinner this time. Thinking about pork belly, brisket, and tri tips. I call dibs on using the fit as hotel transportation again. Cracked windshield and all.

I fixed the grill burner and grates for this year too.

I'll go buy a new damn grill to use and leave it in your driveway before I touch that devil spawn again. My hand is still recovering from the flare ups mixed with cold spots.

Its brand new now. Replaced all the innards.

How long is the drive from your place? We are debating on coming down your way and getting a small convoy going if jlar and/or frank join in.

Russ, as it gets closer, I may hit you up to get your planned departure time and try to cruise with you since I come through your neck of the woods on the way out.

I'm hoping I can come. I'll be bringing my TracSpec vents with me because I think Rusty is bringing my rain trays with him. I'll probably need to pick up some good drill bits to mount these things.

I'll coordinate with you guys as well. We may swing down to russ's and then make the remainder of the trip with you guys.

Bring the template and we can cut out the holes and get em installed. :tup:

Think we are going to stay at the same hotel as Ghost. The Comstock Hampton Inn. It's pet friendly and a lot cheaper than the place we stayed at last year. Arrive Friday, leave Monday morning.

Southwest canceled one of my original legs and the suggested change was to fly through Orlando with a 10 hr travel time :icon14:

I grabbed the last seat on a flight through MDW and now supposed to arrive at 3:20 pm on Thurs. I'll hitchhike if I have to :tup:

Someone needs to come up with a company that provides a bunch of cars that I can rent like those scooters. You know, grab an empty one, drive it to wherever you're going, and then leave it in the middle of the road :tup:
