I saw some with unlimited mileage for an extra $65/trip. I'll just drive one up to Michigan and back :)

There is a guy on reddit going through a divorce that is wondering about renting his Z on turo

Put the warning that it is MT in really small print. See how many people have to cancel upon showing up. Maybe add a non-refundable deposit to reserve? :icon17:

The first time a few years ago was mid-November. Thankfully it didn't snow too much. But temps were highs around 18F all week.

Change in plans. Susan was able to take Thursday off. So we will be at your house at some point after 5. What time is Josh arriving?

Plan now is to work from home Thursday so I can head out a bit earlier than anticipated, probably at Rusty's around 8:30 - 9:00, depending on traffic and where we stop for food. Looking forward to seeing you, Susan, Russ, and Chris!

Perfect! JohnXXX may also be swinging by. He grabbed a hotel close by and would be joining the caravan.

Susan and I might leave early Thurs morning and spend the afternoon in Hershey at the park. Then head to Rusty's.

Rusty 06-10-2021 07:57 AM

I'll get a pizza for dinner.

johnxxx 06-10-2021 09:10 PM

I might have a slice of that pizza if that’s ok with you

I'm getting 2 large Supreme pizza's from Little Joey's. :yum:

Pepperoni, sausage, onion, green peppers & mushrooms.

Rusty 06-10-2021 09:44 PM

For breakfast. You guys want to stop at Cracker Barrel? There is one one the way.

Though the “Country Boy” breakfast is my favorite :yum::yum:
Lately, I just settle for the “Sunrise Sampler” :yum:

Sounds good!

Leingod 06-11-2021 07:50 AM

I take that back. Susan is freaking HYPED to eat at a cracker barrel. She hasn't been to one since she was a kid apparently.

I haven't been to one since I was a kid either. I have absolutely no desire to ever return to one :icon17:

It's just that I can cook all of the menu items I like better than they can and for cheaper at home. It's more of a matter of practicality. I don't dislike Cracker Barrel by any means.

Golden Corral, on the other hand, can burn in hell :icon17:

2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 saugues, hash browns are enough for me. :yum: That would only fill one leg on JC. :icon14: You should see him eat breakfast at ZDayZ.

I've done a terrible job of staying current on this thread, sorry for the slow reply. I'll check with Megan to see if she's up for this. What time are you planning to hit the road from your place Russ?

JARblue 06-14-2021 12:41 PM

Here's a preliminary FS ad of stuff I have if anyone going to the meet is interested. Most of the items will travel, but some I would not be able to bring to Michigan. Have prices in mind for public ad - open to offers first though. PM or text me :tiphat:

( Click to show/hide )

OEM Parts
  • Intakes
  • Nismo exhaust - sold
  • Catalytic converters (pair)
  • Nismo F/R brake pads (new)
  • Wheels: F 18x8 +44, R 18x9 +15 - found on early year roadster models and late year base models.
  • Front sway bar
  • Front end links
  • Illuminated kick plate (pair brand new)
  • Illuminated kick plate (driver side with damage)
  • Wiring harness for illuminated kick plates (new repaired) - note one wire was accidentally cut by the original purchaser and has been properly repaired with solder and heat shrink wrap.
  • Knee pads
  • Side view mirrors - paint color code KAD

Aftermarket Parts - parts are used and in very good condition U.N.O.
  • Fujimura front tower strut brace (new)
  • Seibon carbon fiber hood - note crack in clear coat, paint color code KAD, no shipping or delivery.
  • R2C Cold Air Intakes - black chrome finish
  • R2C Black Hex cone dry air filter (pair)
  • R2C Black Hex panel dry air filter (pair brand new) - note these are for stock intakes
  • Subwoofer box - includes single 10 inch JL sub
  • RJM V2.1 clutch pedal assembly - missing some parts, RJM can identify the missing parts and send them for small fee
  • Mishimoto power steering reservoir - note this is a universal fit item and may require a custom mounting solution; the discoloration around the mounting hold on top is an acceptable manufacturing defect according to Mishitmoto

JARblue 06-14-2021 12:56 PM

Also, madwi, I know you'd prefer the hood, but it won't travel well. Let me know if there's any other parts you want me to bring and leave on the side of your driveway.

Toss those nismo brake pads in the bag. The G is due for pads and rotors
