Chicagoland performance shops
 

I just picked up a 2009, modified Z (true dual Stillen cat back and Takeda intake) and after market wheels.

I've used the search function and google, but can someone please tell me of good performance shops in the Chicagoland area for our Z's?

The ones I came across

1- GRD. I heard they are great but a little steep on price. No one's fault, just an observation while researching.

2- Auto Repair Shop Naperville IL | Providing Car Maintenance & Service (close to my area since I'm close to Naperville) - have not read anyone on here go to them

3- Ultimate Z - from yelp to google, this place has so many mix reviews I'm not sure what to make out of it.

Any others that are competitive in pricing and trustworthy for me to go to for sway bars, oil changes, coil overs and a re-flash down the road?

I was recommended sound performance in bensenville from AMS for work on the z, haven't had time to contact them yet.

Sound Performance is good. I think they used to have one of the fastest 350 @ like 1200+ RWHP a while ago. My brother has his 2JZ S14 there right now being worked on.

There is also Touge Factory (TFWorks) in Wheeling. I don't think they do any Dyno/Tuning but can help with pretty much anything else. They are the HQ for Stance Suspension. I am planning on taking my 370 to them very soon to get some things put on.

I think they are both $100/hr labor

What type of work do you want dont to your car?
CJM is out here in the suburbs he will be installing my Stillen SC with Topgunz air to air kit tbatts upgraded pully cjm fuel system new injectors and we might be flying in seb from specialty Z's. He mainly does "projects" tho not a full service shop. i think... super cool and super helpful tho.(St. Charles)
