Indy Cars and Coffee site change

Because of the size of the crowd, Indianapolis Cars and Coffee has been told it can not use the site at 96th and Meridian, effective immediately. According to the notification, security will be involved, so it would seem they're fairly serious about it.

They are working on finding a new location. The plan is to have no interruption, but no site for 9 May 2015 has been determined at this time. When I find out something I'll add it to this thread.

Disclaimer: I am not now, nor have I ever been directly associated with Indianapolis Cars and Coffee. I just show up there occasionally, including the third Thursday of the month with IZCC, and am trying to convey information for the convenience of the370Z members. blah blah, woof woof, mumble mumble, etc etc.

As of the latest post, dated the Seventh, they don't have anything worked out.

They are suggesting people go to the cruise-in for Premiere at the Indy DIY Garage, or the IndyCar Angie's List Grant Prix.

More as info becomes available.

Tentative announcement with few details: Gator Motorsports.

Details will be posted as they are revealed. (Something was mentioned about "common sense" rules...)

I've seen the crowd in excess of 120 cars. The Gator Motorsports "park here" area is 75 spaces. Looks pre-outgrown to me.

This is the full image of the parking. Spectators are asked to park in the back lot. Looks like about 150 more spaces than the original picture showed. Good news there!

Looks like it starts this Saturday, 16 May. They intend to have a food truck and coffee wagon there.

Anyone going to cars and coffee this weekend? I was thinking about maybe going.
