TrackDaze hpde @ VIR 5/31-6/1

I will be heading to VIR on Friday May 30th for the weekend with my buddy in his E36 M3. Is anyone else interested in joining and getting some seat time @ VIR?

Details are at www.trackdaze.com. Please let me know if you plan on attending!

I'll be at VIR for SVT Superfest in May and with NASA in July. Not yet committed to anything in June.

I was going to go to that event but Cory couldn't make it and suggested the Track Daze one. Are you doing summit point the 26th?

takjak2 04-17-2014 05:57 AM

I am registered for the 26th and 27th at Summit, but my brake pistons are going to be cutting it real close. Current estimate is Wednesday. I'd be really bummed if I can't bring the Z; we are gonna have a pretty good 370 turnout.

I signed up for April 26/27 last night. You said that there is going to be a good 370Z turnout? The only 370Z I see on the driver list is yours.

There is not even one 350Z on the list. Spec Z in the mid-Atlantic is really getting off to a slow start.

Man I really want to go to that. I had prior obligations though.

Onelownismo 05-01-2014 05:10 AM

Bump. Anyone else?

^jealous.

You going to do Hyperfest Jason?

I might, not sure if I want to drive in that crazyness. Wouldn't suggest the HPDE below 3, but I have my TT license now and could do that. Will spectate one day at minimum.

Why not? I did HPDE 1 last year and it was fine.

Higher % of drivers amped up on drifting and rollover competitions, trying to show off for perceived spectators, crowded schedule, and an unsecured paddock.

Fun event no doubt, just less ideal in my mind for HPDE drivers.

What do you mean “perceived spectators”? They are all there watching me.

And I must drive extra hard for them!

1 more week!

The new pavement is nice. I've picked up more than a second on much slower tires
