South Central PA - DIY garage day/get together(?)

Wasn't sure how to word this or if it would gather any interest. On another forum I was on, occasionally there would be get togethers for people that wanted mods done on their cars. It was a combination get together, food party, and wrench session...

Does something like this exist in the Central PA area???

Not personally doing any mods, but I would be down to get together and help out.. I'm reasonably handy with a wrench as well.
Would enjoy putting faces with the names on here as well.

I'll have a set of stainless steel brakes lines that I'll need installed, I'd love for this event to take place.

As many here, I don't "really" have a place to work on the car, I have connections, but they are business's and liabilities using their stuff would I think become an issue. I'm too new here to know if anyone has a place that would let us get "together" so to speak to do small stuff like changing brake lines, etc...

Even if one of the members here had a place and would be willing to share their garage for a get together I for one would be willing to throw some coin into it to make it worth their while and as said above, would be nice to tie a face to some of the names here.

Ive got a 24' x 26' Two-car with heat,( only one operating door, so its one car at a time inside) an 82 gallon compressor, running water, plenty of driveway parking, low-traffic area, and about 3 miles off Interstate 81. There is also a relatively cheap motel about 3 miles away for those interested, and a Stocked Bar in my basement as well as a local pub less than 1/4 mile away.
I'm game to host.:tiphat:

I don't have anything that needs doing right now but I might show up to help. Would depend on when/where (preferably somewhere with heat this time of year).

A/C in Garage as well for warmer weather. Also, off street parking for a dozen or so.

Now if I only knew how to give a rep, I would give ya one Ron!!!!! I'd show up anyway, but I have too much stuff that I want done... Coilovers, sways, Nismo rear cover and bushings, a couple of other things. One thing I'd would do if we could arrange this, is my TWM short shifter, or the new clutch pedal setup (doesn't appear like it would take too long on the short shift). Like I said, I'd have no problem with making worth the while... Ron, any Pizza joints in Pine Grove?? Know there is McD's and Arby's right off the exit...

RonRizz 11-26-2013 04:29 PM

3 Pizza joints that I can think of, all within a mile or so of me

dmhenderson 11-26-2013 04:35 PM

I'm in Northern Maryland so not sure where you are but it's probably a short hop up 81.
