How open are these places to total track noobs? I've never tracked a car, and would have no idea what the proper routine/rules are and what not. Would it be

How open are these places to total track noobs? I've never tracked a car, and would have no idea what the proper routine/rules are and what not. Would it be wise to take some sort of class before attempting a track day?
