Is it like a group driving thing or is everyone on their own to get to the check points? Just want to know if I can follow the cars in front of me or will I have to memorize the directions.

At each checkpoint you'll be given the turn by turn to the next checkpoint. Usually in Poker Runs, if all goes well you should be grouped. Typically everyone hangs out at the checkpoints then continues on once everyone catches up, it's not really a race so you don't have to grab your card then race to the next checkpoint haha
