GTM SC build supporting mod requirements

When DM asks if he needs an oil cooler, it's a show car. A damn fine show car.

So I talked to Sam at GTM and he tells me the z1 34 row cooler won't fit with their sc kit. He's gonna get me a revised quote with their add-on solution.

So anyway, does that sound right to those of you running the GTM SC? I can't run the Z1 cooler? Still waiting on a revised quote from Sam.

Idk about the Z1 oil cooler, but I know I'm worried about mine too... It's definitely large enough to do the job, maybe too large to fit without fabricating new brackets and finding a new place to put it.

That's exactly what Sam said. You will have to fabricate new brackets and throw out half of the hardware that comes with it because of the fact that you have to move the oil filter to the other side of the engine bay.

GTM offers a build-on solution - waiting on revised quote.

Sam also pointed out that any relocation kit for the oil cooler would likely mount it in front of the passenger side wheel well which would make me have to choose between my brake ducts and the cooler which is no good.

My oil cooler is on the driver side wheel well just under the headlight for reference.
I think with the intercooler design, it is to close to the radiator, not allowing any other coolers between the intercooler & radiator like with the turbo systems. Along with the piping the only place for us to put additional coolers is on the edges.

Sigh... or the brand new CSF radiator, or my new red Z1 tubes. This sucks.

The radiator doesn't work with the twin intercoolers? That seems odd.

Yeah... For anyone looking at the twin superchargers...

"Next, the CSF radiator will not work since the water neck is a one piece setup whereas the stock radiator is a two piece setup. That means the water neck on the CSF radiator will interfere with the supercharger on the passenger side. We have a special elbow that replaces the stock elbow to give clearance between the water neck and the supercharger. Since the CSF is a one piece elbow, we can't use our elbow. Also, we use different radiator hoses to clear the supercharger brackets, belts and pulleys so your silicone radiator hoses won't work either."
