You must get a oil cooler the one from GTM is ok but it is behind their SC traction fluid cooler. I have it and it does the job, most of the time, barely when it gets in the upper 90s. The one nice thing about the GTM oil cooler is that is goes in well with the kit and does not interfere with the Intercooler.

I got a PLX Devices gauge with an AFR and Boost gauge modules. They work.

I will be putting in a new clutch this fall as it is starting to wear out after 20K worth of hooliganism.

I have a tick in my supercharger that has been in happening for 10,000+ miles. It only occurs at around 900rpm. Sometimes it is loud and audible, sometimes it is not there. I talked to Sam about it and he had never heard of it happening. I said fuk it after 2000 miles of trying to chase it down. I really wanted it to go T.U. so I could go to a stage 2, but it won't die so I quit worrying about it. I hammer the SC all the time and am putting out over 9psi with the stock pulley in the summer, and 10.4 psi in the winter.

YMMV
FYYFF

So I'm literally buying the same kit and want to shoot for 500-550 whp. Other than the tick, anything else I should know?

Can I run the Z1 oil cooler? GTM assrapes you on part costs. You should have seen the quote they gave me for injectors and a fuel pump (no joke, it was over $2k)

Yours is probably a Bosch too...

All that being said you don't have to spend a bundle to get quality bits...

I mean it wasn't a fortune. It retails for like $210. I just know innovative is supposed to be the best.

Yeah GTM is pricey but you are paying for that R&D I suppose. You can run any oil cooler Moore will be able to make it fit no problem. They did quote you high but Moore is also hooking you the hell up dude. Like that quote for the ID1000's is unheard of.

It's the nickel and dime stuff that's starting to add up

There are GTM badges that go on the piping. I asked them to do a GTM logo on the IC in the powder and they said "lol no"

I looked at a couple SC kits and I've been 100% positive this is the way I want to go for a while now. No regrets

Welcome to boosting a z.

Oh it's happening. Just seeing how bad it's going to deplete my savings at this point.

I'm gonna buy bits and pieces until the kit shows up. Want khoi's discounted oil pan spacer this weekend and I'm gonna hit up Z1 to see if they'll cut me a break on an oil cooler., I've spent a decent amount there.

Hypothetically speaking, we should absolutely race in a legal, controlled environment once both of our FI builds are done.

Hahaha "legal" for sure. Maybe you can take a crack against the 458 Italia or the ZR1 too.

Not seeing the need for the oil pan but that is just me. The oil cooler and lines added another quart for me...
