HyperFest 13: Saturday June 15th
 

This is a reminder that HyperFest 13 is @ Summit Point Raceway on Saturday, June 15th. I will be driving in HPDE 3 but this is a great spectator event as well.

I have HyperFest to thank for finally taking the plunge and signing up for my first track day. I remember heading up there with the National G[35] Club ostensibly to watch the drift racing on the Shenandoah Circuit. However my eyes kept drifting over to the Main Circuit watching what seemed like every make and model of car furiously lapping and thinking I should be there.

I'll be there. I waited too long to sign up for hpde, but I will be doing the hyperdrive event.

Wouldn't miss this for anything...It's a blast!!

I'll be attending. Just registered and will be doing the Hyperdrive session. Still need some real track experience and maybe some lessons would help. Can't wait! Anyone going up Friday night? I'll have to since I'm coming from the beach. If anyone wants to cruise up with or meet me along the way it'd make the drive much more better! ;)

Man, that hyperdrive session sounds like fun!! Not sure if my stock oil cooler will hold up enough for a 20 minute session (being that it creeps up around 230 or so after going through the gears once or twice) and just exhausted my funds on the latest order of mods. :-( Oh well, always next year!

You should still come and spectate man, there are tons of events it not just the hyperdrive. I promise you can still have a great time.

Oh, I'll definitely be there. Missed the past few years because I had to work. Work is slow now, so I'm planning on attending this one.....and being I only live 10 minutes from the track, no brainer!! Hope to meet some of you fellow Z owners! :tiphat:

Roll In is from 8:30AM - 10:30AM at the Shenandoah Gate (GATE 2) where you will proceed to the Car Show registration building to the left of the entrance.

The Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET is a proud supporter of HyperFest….you gotta check it out; there is something for everyone at this event!

If you go to HyperFest remember to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to explore. Almost every part of the facility is open to spectators so don’t be afraid to check out the different tracks. You can pretty much go anywhere unless a track official tells you otherwise.

Be sure to check out the Thunder Race at 4:15 p.m. on the Main Track. I am driving the only 370Z in the event and will be on track at 10:05 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4:45 p.m.

Unfortunately, due to work and the timing of a particular event on that Friday, I will no longer be able to attend.

However... I have NO LONGER ANY ticket available. Absolutely free! But please make sure you are available to attend as I would hope someone could benefit from this. All I need is a name and email address and Laura Cobetto will add you to the "will call" list and you can pick it up at the gate. First person to send me this info gets it! (Seriously, no BS... just a name and email. And no, I do not consort with the spamming types.) I will update this post when the ticket is reserved. Thanks. Hope the rest of you have a great time out there!
