Tools at Marley Station at a car meet
|
The video was pretty badass though... i hate to admit.
|
Sorry, no. Nothing is 'pretty badass' about doing doing that kind of thing in public. Acts like that is what give enthusiasts a generalized bad name. If this was done at say one of our Columbia or FFX meets you can be sure that our Mazoc meets would be ruined because of it.

And lets not act like we're ALL saints here in the Mazoc, with all the "spirited" driving people like to do.. just sayin.

Our spirited cruises are nothing like whats shown on that video. Yea we get up fast and do over the speed limit but not like this lol. We tend to reserve our stints on back roads away from other cars. |
Im not seeing the difference, you're talking about the public's perception of car enthusiasts.. (i believe those are the words you used). spirited driving could get someone hurt even killed, right?
whats the difference? One's ok, and the others not? |
im just saying..
|
Im not saying what they did was right, and warranted, and I definitely dont condone what they did, but I also wont bash them either, if you read the article, tickets and warnings were issued.

Our group is pretty good at self policing as to not draw negative attention to ourselves. |
You're absolutely right, no one in our group are saints but we don't bring heat on ourselves like this.
Imagine if someone were to pull off this kind of stunt at the past AAM Open House. I bet Khoi and the rest of the AAM guys wouldn't appreciate it all too much lol. |

My point exactly. |
Bashing these guys for the stunt they pulled and not looking at ourselves would be a hypocrisy.
